I think you all have missed the whole point of the thread.
I too have found it hard to get those missiles off on Dragon Valley, it's blinding whenever you look at the sky in the TV view. So no, I don't have any magic answer :P

Yeah, it's really quite annoying, and it happens with the HUD's of the AA vehicles too.

Does anyone know a way to get round this problem? Id love to be the co pilot for my clan but I just can't cope with the T.v's on Dragon Valley (the main heli 8v8 map!)

those missles are for air to ground rofl.... although I did get a chopper kill with one last night.

Hit what twice? A tank? The TV missle kills everything in one hit.

I have switched my reticle to bright purple and made it less transparent because I had been losing it in bright sun. This has helped.

Yes, for somer reason every time a fire the so-called guided missiles at the helis. I freakin miss every single time. Does anybody know why?

A hovering BH is a lot easier than a moving attack chopper. Don't fire to early, fire right when the pilot is strafing the target.

Ok, sorry to go off-topic but for all those people who are a little annoyed at the TV missiles........

The TV missiles are tricky little things but are easily mastered-

First off the missile has a fuel guage. When u fire it you will see full when you first fire the missile and it will deplete as the missile travels along -

                        FIRING THE MISSILE -

After you line up the target - Click(AND RELEASE MOUSE - This is important) to fire and THEN if it is going to miss, click again, and then for every adjustment in direction you simply move the cross hair and click again. so u can turn the missile around in circles or dart it left then right then left again if u need. it simply takes some quick mouse movement and lots of clicking!

On Dragon Valley - i have sat in the gunner seat on my own - on the ship, turned the helli to face that base to the right which the chinese had captured -

2 FAV jeeps had setup right on the edge of that base facing the carrier ship and were decamating the attack choppers. I turned the hello - fired my TV missile and guided it all the way to the shore (which i couldn't even see from the ship) and pummeled the Jeep :)

This technique can prove very useful on maps like Gulf of Oman, Dalian plant, Operation Cleansweep Etc. Where SAM sites are setup along the shoreline to eat you alive as you approach.

Practice with it in single player and you will see what i mean, the main thing is to keep clicking and releasing, and clicking and releasing!

hope this helps those confused by the good ol TV missile. Enjoy your flying!

Doing that doesn't affect the actual T.V guided missile crosshair though (the cross hair you get when you right click as co pilot in the heli to use the t.v. guided missiles)

some douche was spamming them on gulf of oman, from the small island south of the Carrier he'd just fire a missle over the hill and snake it into the spawns.... it was very lame...

Right, Ive come to the conclusion that it is not possible to fix this problem. YOu just have to practice and get used to it.
