The speed of your internet has NOTHING to do with your loading time, if you want to blame something look at your sucky CPU and ram. Using a no cd crack or cd/dvd image will speed up your loading a bit.

its based on the processor. cause it has to process all that data. the faster ur CPU is the faster it loads.

Yep, having a fast computer helps if you want to fly.

It is also dependent on your amount of RAM, plus your harddrives' type, speed and cache amount.

The real-life minimum specs for this game is:

                        AMD <1.8GHZ CPU or P4 @ 2.8 Ghz>
1.5 GB ram (1GB is NOT ENOUGH at any "high" settings in the game)
Video card ATI=X800 or better, Nvidia=6800nu or better

Combo of anything above or better will play reasonably well. Anything less than this and you will see stutter/gameplay issues unless you run very low res like 800 X 600.
Yes, you CAN play the game at such reduced levels and everything set to low q, but why would you?

                          specs

I got my settings to 85fps, most are high with some meduim.
                            My rig is:
                            2.26Ghz
                            512Mb RAM
                            120Gb HD
                            6600GT.
Runs ok with me, the one thing I will do is upgrade my RAM for faster load times though...when i get money too!
