either way, the tests are about 1-8fps off from each other..and Nvidias drivers are always more compatible then ATI's.

nvidia is the best for bf2. i will tell u y, they ONLY tested it wit nvidia products. also, in the credits, i noticed for the special thnx, nvidia was the only video card tht popped up. so u can c y ati people have MORE trouble wit bf2.

Thats not true. Nvidia just payed them to advertise. Get the x800 pro for bf2.

Play bf2 on a x800 pro and then play it on a VANILLA 6800. You'll see the difference.

Ok, clear some things up, vanilla X800=vanilla 6800, X800Pro= i dunno, X800XL=6800GT, so i think the X800pro should be more expensive, the X800 is only 200 bucks for 256mb, so that's pretty good.

Dont listen to any of these noobs saying get Nvidia, they are just fanboys that dont know better.. This guy is asking should he buy a VANILLA 6800 or a X800 Pro. Its 100% clear that he should go with X800, its core clock and memory clocks are higher, and it uses GDDR3 unlike the shitty old DDR the 6800 sports. Look at the specs of the 6800 he is talkin about before you say anything. And Battlefield1985 has no idea what hes talkin about you would get MUCH more than a 1-2 fps change from those 2.

X800Pro all the way. and no im not an ATI fanboy, i own a 6800GT.
