I punish for those who delibertaly TK and sometimes for those who I think maybe did not do it deliberatly but are playing in a very selfish manor and need to learn. For example some guy who races you to get a vehicle and then runs over you when he gets it without seeming to make any effort not to miss you and also makes no appology.

Most of the time I end up forgiving because really I don't get TK'd deliberatly very often and selfish arseholes are luckily not that common.

What I do find though is 95% of players TK punish no matter how the TK happened. I think many see it as a way of giving themselves more of a chance at medals as you can knock good players scores down and so make your score look better.

OK ok sorry dudes. Sometimes the tendency of this forum gets to me and i can't stop myself from puking in a post and submitting it. When i posted, the threat was only up to post 13. After reading post number 14 i feel sorry for flaming badzmaru. Having the balls to admit you're wrong is higly commendable. So again sorry badzmaru.

Next time I'll do my breathing exercises before i hit the reply button.

To give an idea how many punish TK's someone actually forgave me a TK last night and it is the first time I remember this happening in ages.

Basically on this one I was shooting at an enemy and friendly poped up behind him. I missed the enemy with every shot and killed he friendly with one shot. It was really a classic mistake TK and the guy actually forgave which kind of shocked me for a moment

Its pretty rare that i TK... it has to be deliberate...

sometimes, in the heat of battle, stress gets to you and you might not be too forgiving. Hey, if i messed up, I'll admit it. But in this case, I think he deserved it. I mean, all he had to do was apologize. I rarely punish someone when they apoligize. Not only did he not apologize, he kept on killing me when i spawned. WTH! We're were both on the same team....

problem is, people end up punishing before one is given the chance to apologize... everyone that ive played with and accidentally tk'ed has punished me. not once in this game full of dipshits and asshats have I been forgiven for an accidental TK.. Some idiot decided to punish me when i was shooting at someone and they ran in front of my line of fire.... honestly, bf2 is full of these dicks and they need to learn to grow up.

People who punish more than 25% of the times should have their account locked.
People who kill teammates 3 times in a row should have their account locked too.

No more tk'ing on purpose then and no more punishing on purpose either.

But hey, BF2 is not about teamplay, it's about getting the highest possible personal score. I realised this yesterday, after I tried to get the entire team to work together, and all they could care about is racking up the points. Of course the team lost.

What if you accidentally TK a full blackhawk because of the stupid bug where your teammates show up as red?.... I dont like how the server kicks you if you tk 3 people in a row by accident because you were using a TOW and a half full APC ran right into your god damned rocket.. The game needs more intelligence. :|:
