    Punishment

This noob crashed his jet into my helo so I punished him for killing a team member. After we both spawned, he started going ballistic on me saying I crashed into him and so on. So I told him if that was the case, then he would be able punish me rather then the other way around.

Well, I guess that wasn't enough for him so he kept on killing me. I spawned again and he killed me again etc. Idiot boy didn't get that I could punish him every time he does this. He finally got kicked after so many kills. Just wanted to know, was i wrong?

Here's an idea... DON'T PUNISH HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

Only punish when someone stares at you for maybe minimum 2-5 seconds, and shoots you.

HE LOOSES POINTS EVEN IF YOU FORGIVE, why punish him and be a complete as$hole?

Ya he was a jerk, but you still shouldn't of punished him in the first place.

sometimes, in the heat of battle, stress gets to you and you might not be too forgiving. Hey, if i messed up, I'll admit it. But in this case, I think he deserved it. I mean, all he had to do was apologize. I rarely punish someone when they apoligize. Not only did he not apologize, he kept on killing me when i spawned. WTH! We're were both on the same team....

I find in a crash and you punish, you deserved it, there are to many punishers around and you are probably one of them

If you follow all the threads on the forum on the 'TK punishing problem', then you'd come to a conclusion that TK tracking is a bit corrupt to say the least (unless you experienced it yourself, as most of us).

The fact that the TK was assigned to him does not mean that the collision was his fault, it may have been your fault. He behaved childish afterwards, but if I were you I'd never punish him in the first place - even if it was 100% his error he might have made a simple mistake and I don't think anyone deserves to be punished for accidental collisions (well, I'd think about punishing him if he did the same thing 3 times in 1 round, as that would make me think he does it on purpose).

I only punish if I am pretty much sure that someone killed me on purpose or (very, very rarely) when someone made an utterly stupid mistake. A few days a go I was flying a heli from the carrier on Dalian Plant, there were no bad guys around and there was only me and our plane in the air. Just before I reached the land our plane targeted me, launched a rocket, missed, made a second pass and then shot me down with the guns. Then I punished him.

Well if you didnt punish him in the first place he wouldnt of went off on you but, that is no excuse for him being A complete TARDa$$. And if you want to punish him even more than you will become the complete TARDa$$.

People who punish more than 25% of the times should have their account locked.
People who kill teammates 3 times in a row should have their account locked too.

No more tk'ing on purpose then and no more punishing on purpose either.

But hey, BF2 is not about teamplay, it's about getting the highest possible personal score. I realised this yesterday, after I tried to get the entire team to work together, and all they could care about is racking up the points. Of course the team lost.

EA: you're the best. you bring the best out of people.

I guess you're right. I shouldn't of punish him in the first place. And no, i don't punish often. Thanks for the comments.

Dude, you're talking about karkand here. Not Iraq. The biggest source of stress you might run into is running out of cheetos and mountain dew.
