That's not exploiting. If he needs ammo and you give it to him, I don't care if he goes through 1000 rounds shooting at the enemy. Now if you guys are off at the back of the map and he's just shooting into the grass and you're dumping ammo on him, that's gay as hell. But he only gets 30 rounds to begin with with the .50 and it's not hard to go through several ammo resupplies.

It depends on what in their mind they consider cheating. Your post does not state more of the "exploitation" charge so it could have been a number of things.

I am sure EA looked at the stats which I am sure they compared to the general publics average combined and went from there. There will be cheaters that are never caught, but some play it smart too. They cheat but they do not go to great extremes to abuse the cheat like some of these guys getting caught with outrageous scores.

That is not exploiting. You were doing your job. Exploiting is the 2 or 3 homos that go into a far corner of the map and kill themselves over and over while a medic is there for 40 minutes reviving, healing, etc etc. EA can see how the points were earned and how they revived the same player or two over and over again.

you know, i hear so much about people exploiting in this game like killing one guy then reviving him and doing it over and over.

now, my question is what do you guys think of the 24/7 karkand servers? i played on one (well, it rotated between mashturr and karkand) last night for a good bit. racked up a lot of points, as i'm sure other players did.
if you think about it, this is a quick way to get points because you can throw ammo and health packs around and people will always be picking them up. the usmc team would just sit on the hill and shoot m203 rounds into 1 area and rack up tons of kills, they didn't even try to capture any of our flags. then the medics would come in and revive and heal, racking up points. thats why people play it - its all one big exploit disguised as real playing.

now, i'm not very good at this game, so getting a decent score for me is hard. on a good round i might get about 20 points. really good is about 50 points. that means its going to take me forever to get the unlocks. even on the karkand server my best score as a support class was 27 i think.

You were resupplying a teammate, isn't that what support is SUPPOSED to do?

While I love Karkland servers, I have noticed players are mastering the spawn point locations between coming down from the hill on the US side to the first flagpoint and seeing a lot of commanders camp there with a tank and dropping supplies on their own tank and just spawn raping.

They need to add a lot more random spawn points so spawn raping is lessened.

I'm confused....aren't you SUPPOSED to? Or do you mean he was shooting at other exploiters while you fed his habit?

I've never cheated in anyway unless massively littering the ground with ammo is a cheat.

Im tired....tired of hearing everyone complain/argue/question this game to death about ranking points. Yes cheaters and whores should be dealt with and I think you should have to be on the ground to capture a flag not in a helo. Everyone, the game has only been out a few months, we dont know what the future holds and we will still be playing this game for a couple of years until #3 comes out. The more you play the higher in rank you will go, so relax get creative, be a bull in a china shop in a game be a sneaky bastard, change things up and dont be so focused on ranks..there not real...no one will salute you.....
