has something like this sometimes happen to you, i once waited to recieve points for flagcapture and one on my team shot me so he would get the point, and when i was medic i was about to revive 2 or 3 guys and i got shot by a medic so he would get the points, and he didnt revive me!!
If lame is the game, fight cheese with cheese. If he's firing, run into his line of fight. Jump in front of his vehicle. Someone people need to experience cheese and then maybe they'll learn.
Note: I punish everyone now because 95% of the time, they'll do the same to me.

Truly a sad statement. I have forgiven almost every teamkill towards me, yet have been punished by every idiot out there, for the stupidest things. It is really a depressing part of the game.

i did that when i first started playing but then i realized that 95 percent of the time it was pure accident. except for the guy that saw me at "our" flag, then went prone, aimed and sprayed at me with an rpk or something. i didnt die for a few seconds(plenty of time to notice the tag). i like to forgive unless you are just a retard then ill punish
I won't punish unless it was intentional. I accidentally ran over some friendly mines last night on Karkand and didn't punish-my fault for not being careful.
Tanks run back over me when I'm not being careful-my fault
Arty strikes, with due warning and I get killed-my fault again.
I've even mistakenly gunned down a team mate in a flag defence from enemy all around us. I got punished for it but I would have probably been just as pissed off had it been me.
It's time people started to accept some responsibility for their own mistakes and stop punishing others for it.
I have made some accidental TK's lately with the sniper rifle.
That is when someone on my team hops into a enemy car's gunner seat while he is capping a flag.
I do the quick aim to the head at 100+ meters range and fire...
At the same moment as i fire i get the blue friendly text and i am like F U C K.
I say sorry three times and i dont care if he punishes me, im just satisfied with the fact that i am actually sorry for it... I have never been banned from a server anyways.
I always forgive unless i see an OBVIOUS TK.
Like when i am waiting for the chopper and a engineer puts his 8 pellets in his shotgun right to my head.
And just today i was TK'ed when i was lying prone taking out enemy snipers on a rooftop and some poor bastard puts his leg right in the line of fire when i pull the trigger... I say sorry but he turns to me with his M249 LMG and empties his clip... I choose to forgive him because it can be really frustrating to have 2 bars of health left. He would be better off dead.
But still i think some people are being too impulsive... Dont default to punish in your head... Have patience with people that make accidents and most of the times it's the dead guys fault anyways.
I rarely punish, unless its something really stupid or simply pointless, like deliberately running me over or like one bloke, lining me up with the m16 at the start of a round and killing me at our home base!
I take it one step further, and if im killed by my own fault, ie running into the path of a car or into a friendly grenade or something, i'll apologise for losing that person 2 points. It was not their fault, i am the one at fault, and so i'll apologise for it.
I got TK'd as commander last night - had just capped a point and ran back to a nice hiding spot and buried my head in the map. A friendly must have thought I was waiting to cap the flag back. He apologised three times, I was certain it was a genuine mistake and forgave him. Typed back "No prob, it happens. Just don't punish me when I drop artillery on you!" - Obviously I am pretty "forgiving" :shakehead when it comes to TK's. The punish meant to be used only on loser's deliberately TKing.
Then someone in the house then started downloading something and "problem with your connection". At least it wasn't another kick+ban as commander...

Same here I rarely punish unless I know they did it on perpose but i get punished despite most are accidents :p

You're one of the rare people in the other 5%. I used to forgive, but no one else returned the favour. So hey, the faster I can get these lame players banned, the better.

what server was this? I accidentally ran our commander over on our server yesterday evening. There were 3 or 4 pieces of armor at a flag (and several on foot) and i was last in, so i backed up, and ran him over.
Nah, don't think it was me - this guy emptied his clip into me. I pretty much never move as commander - Just this time our team had just two squads, totalling three people (Makes it a bit hard to direct the traffic!) and the flag I was camping at was vacant.

Damnit, now i'm gonna think about that for an hour. I know his name, but can't think of it, you know?
I had a clan one time (there names was WGB or WTB, something like that) that would stand in front of my jet in Operation Clean Sweep just so I couldn't take off. Made me so mad. My RIO had enough though and wasted them with a maverick :) Quite comical to watch.
