PKM. Sweet.

i figured out how to kill people with the pkm from range 100+ u have to aim down and the bullets will go up and kill the guy.

for CQB (upto 20m) the pkm is sweet.

however anything further and you actually have less effective firepower than other classes especially MEC/CH assualt.

often i keep swithcing between different support guns as each had very discinct strengths.

I find the excessive muzzle flash and rapid overheating very frustrating.

i have laid waste to a sqaud trying to cap a flag but that was with the SAW.

I hope the prone accuracy of the support machine guns (or maybe just the LMGs) across the board is tweaked medium to long range when using controlled bursts. just enough so the bullets go sorta where i am aiming. too often i end up drawing circles around the target.

you should only hit the current accuracy aftre holding you finger on the trigger for a few seconds - but when you start firing the rounds should be pretty much on the mark (maybe impacting in a circle shape a foot across at 100m) and inaccuracy should grow based on how long you hold trigger down.

I had my first experience with the PKM last night on Karkand. I picked it up from a recent victim of mine. The sound is amazing and really makes you think you have a big gun in your hands. It will definitely be my next unlock at Corporal (I went with the L85 originally). I didn't get to enjoy it that long though since I was killed shortly after picking it up, but I managed to pick up the kit after re-spawning. I came around the corner and ran into the back of a Marine, jumped to the ground and took him out in about 2-3 shots. Poor guy never knew what hit him...

The PKM was my first unlock too. The second I got it, I logged on to Strike at Karkhand and got 36 kills. Could've been just the morale I got from unlocking my first weapon, but either way I'm sure glad I chose it

Its an ok gun, but if someone sees you from far away and prones, you are going down hard. Bursting it lets about 1 out of 4 bullets hit the target intended but if the person you are aiming at is any good, they will take you out long before, which is why its good for city maps.

G3 was my first unlock. It's a sweet gun. The power is radical - if I get 2 shots into them they are dead 90% of the time.

That's why you find cover. You don't go "Oh no...I'd better let him kill me."

As support, if you've lost your advantage, you find a place to regroup and bring your victim to you, or find a way to get closer.
