There is very little ghosting with the dell 2405.

Another thing that needs to be remembered is that true widescreen isn't possible yet in BF2. Notice the radar is oval shaped. The picture is stretched out.

Myself and a bunch of blokes do that at work, in the IT section we have a spare 51" plasma sitting around on a desk, hook up the lappys at lunchtime.... brilliant.

I could only wish that EA and Dice will add more native screen resolutions in the future. 1280 x 1024 to start, then 1280 x 720, and at some point 1600 x 1200 and 1920 x 1080. Maybe during the 1.1 or 1.2 updates.

Problem is BF2 doesn't support widescreen. The picture isn't strethced (only overlay screens, like the radar, etc), but you're actually seeing LESS than a square screen, because the top and bottom is being cut off. I cant take some screenies to show you, if you want. It pisses me off, this is the only current gen game I can think of that doesn't support widescreen.

you've inspired me. I'm gonna get my 56' HD setup to my comp sometime this week, that's it! no more waiting. Plus the girlfriends out of town for a week so I can enjoy it guilt free for at least that long. I'll post some pics as soon as I get it all setup.

                                thx buddy
