Forgive a team KILL

I was wondering if someone knows what happens if you forgive someone when a teammate kills you! does he still gets the -4 points?

yeah, he does....which I think is dumb, cuz if you forgive that person, I don't think you want him to get negative points...

Ponits shouldn't be taken if you forgive.

I have always been pretty lenient when it comes to TK;s if they are not obvious and I normally forgive them, but I do get pissed off if the person doesn't apologise or at least give you recognition.
Accidents happen and the least you can do is say sorry.

I guess I just expect people treat me the same way as I treat them.

i think that the must forgive road kill allot of noobs dont watch out for Vehicles and than the die because the dont watch out and still complain i hade that i killed allot of teammates because of this often on the first spawn everbody wolking over the road

My most popular teamkill always comes when im reversing a tank in a tight space and end up running someone over in the prosses, peaple will still punish me even if im top scorer with 20 plus team points its pretty annoying. Its hardly like i ment to they should loose points for walking behind a reversing tank!

One of my clanmates blasted a guy who was in red, and he turned out to be a friendly. Of course, before he could say sorry - the guy punished him. This person even had a clan tag on - how classy. It took 1/2 of the server to convince him that he was in red and that he should chill out on the punishes....ugh.

Maybe the minus score you get for a punished tk should depend on how much you have punished in the past. Example: I have punished 3 (?) times since I started playing the game and forgiven...a lot...let's say 100. If I get punished, the number of points should be somehow related to the ratio 3/100. That should help make sure that you only punish if it's something really worth punishing for. This isn't a perfect system either but maybe it would be better than the current one...

I'm sure this will be less a problem after 1.03 though - I'm confident that DICE will fix a lot of the "features" that cause most of the unintentional tk:s (e.g. decrease the amount of damage moving vehicles do to infantry).

....and I agree - I think the forgive option should result in no negative points for the tk:er. I feel really bad when I did something stupid (like jumping out of a moving vehicle) and someone else had to pay for my mistake...

they punish you because you have a higher score.

amnesty international should have 'forgive a TK day.' we could all wear a yellow bullseye badge or something.

I agree, in the most perfect of conditions tardy MIGHT be correct, but this game is still far from perfect in terms of the info it relays to people, and how it determines TK's.

I've had plenty of situations where I'll be at the top or close to the top in total points and I'll get some accidental TK and get instantly punished. A little bit of extra information would be nice for the TK victim.

Yea one of my team ran over my mine in a full jeep and they all punished me for it. the mines where out in the open in shallow water, any teamate could see. why is it people dont understand what the red skull means. If anything the teamkills should go to the driver for being a retard.
