Hey leadwall, I was wondering about how it would look myself. I have a 43-inch Pioneer plasma. I have just been too damn lazy to unhook my tower and bring it near the telly. I was going to wait till I bought a 50 foot DVI cord to hook it up so that I didnt have to move the tower. I might have to just get off my lazy ass and move the tower next to the plasma. Any chance of taking some pics?

I tried hooking it up to the 60" screen... but it looked like crap couldnt even read the text on my icons. course.. that was via S-video, does DVI make that much of a difference?

I ran it on my 65inch HD Hitachi, will post a pic when I get home, looks great; gotta use component cables (not S-video) so the PC is really close and I have to sit within 4 feet of the screen… not the best that close....

Thanks for the info, I got a 60'' Sony Grand WEGA 3LCD Projecion HDTV and have been thinking about hooking up my PC but wanted to hear something before I went out and bought the cable. I think my monitor is good enough.

Ohh, that makes sense. Have to get a wireless mouse and keyboard, too. Well, getting married in October should have some extra cash from the wedding!

Three ways to do it, depending on your vid card & TV.
                    1.) S-Video (fuzzy at best)

                    2.) Component video cable
(set the game res as high as you can)
(TV on sudo HD, or "gay" as you called it...)
(you have to clear your cache every time)

3.) SART Connection (never tried this)

Might take some tweaking, but like everything else... turn your gear completely off while your connecting / disconnecting it....

Do not use s-video or composite. Use either DVI (or HDMI) or component. What is the native resolution of your TV? It might take some tweaking to get it going.
I have found the easiest way is to hook up the PC using dsub15/vga if you have it, as it is basically already set to your native res. It takes some time to figure out. You might need to use powerstrip to find the best resolution/timing settings.

You forgot DVI, it is the best connection.

Hey guys, I am curious how the flicker/refresh looks and feels on the big LCDs? I play on a 22" CRT and have been eyeballing a 32" LCD.
