It really does. The M4 looks awesome, and the lighting looks a lot better for some reason.

Noticable differences:

Guns fall out of people's hands, not magically turn into retarded kit thingy
helicopter rotor wash effect
Arabic army looks arabic...
civillian vehicles
no magic defibrilator
laser designator
good ragdoll effects (the ones we have now suck, im sorry)
people are not ****ing reappearing out of no where and then suicide bombing everyone.

about the combat looking more real:
DICE easily could have tweaked the game a bit to make a game where a cool movie like that actually happens, a defined defnsive force and a defined force recon, with dead people staying dead, no one reaapring, and people actually giving a damn about thier lives and trying not to die.

I don't think it looks better.. the main thing you get from most of these videos is cinematic camera angles you couldn't get in game normally...

Um my game looks really awesome like that, dunno botu yours, again that was all pre-recorded and they used BFTV to replay it all and record the good parts into a movie.

the laser designater i felt was going to be in the game was a major selling point for me, i thought that was spectacular. the fatc that its not there is a major reason why i dont play the game all that much.

Naw man the game looks gorgeous and delivers what it said it would.

Stuff got cut so they could release it sooner. Which by me is fine cause at least Im Playing it instead of Waiting for it.

Even though I expected a much different game from the videos at first it felt wierd but after playing a while I think they got the game perfect.

Everything from sprint charactaristics, reload, accuracys, models, hell I coudln't be happier with the game. It must suck to be one of you whining babies nittpicking over every tiny little thing because I'm in heaven

The ability to blow up tanks, jeeps, etc for a distance, thats for the anti-tank class, not the spec-ops. Besides, spec-ops already have alot of goodies, they dont need any more. Otherwise, the class would pwn everything and make it horribly unbalanced.

The average PC couldn't handle what DICE wanted to put into BF2. Some people can't afford the powerhouse PCs like some of us. All in all, I still think the game is fun and looks good.
