In that movie. there was lots of physics objects like in HL2 and CS:S, in game now, there is really nothing you can shoot and have it fly across the street or explode. Everything seems to be made out of cement and bolted to the floor.

      Yeah what the hell.

In some of the demonstrations they mentioned civilian vehicles, lazer designators, Battlefield Tv, and a couple more things i have forgot. I guess they just left the vehicles blown up. And the lazer designator may be kept for the expansion. But who knows it would have been cool to lock onto a tank then someone in a jet gets a message and they just press page up to confirm and a missile just flies off automatically.

i was disspointed in this too i wanted to play the mujahideen side the old MEC guys looked like real mujahideen guys with the headscarf and everything then when i got BF 2 i was disspointed and found that the MEC guys just look like a reguler army from the old DC.

I was somewhat disappointed in some of the cuts. For example the laser designation (would be implimented simular to the F15's bomber seat), fast ropes (would have been great for quick insertion of troops), the LCAC, and minor other things. But I can't say that I was disappointed in the game itself, beause it is still fun, now we have to wait for the mod tools.

what would be really nice... doors that open...
                thats all i ask...
why are all these doors locked ?
and why cant i break in ?

i understand having to render so many indoor areas...
but there should be SOME building you can do into if the doors are closed...
Seems like all the buildings you can go into are always open doors...

I know i would want doors and alot of open doors and stuff to this bs where there is the same open house. Sucks there is no means of suprise you can hide or nothing. Roof combat just sucks to i personaly like shooting out of windows.

Player models were so much cooler in the vid. The current 1s suck ass.

I agree. I played a Battlerecorder file yesterday and it looks pretty damn sweet with different camera angles.

i liked the car alarm effects. :) Not in current game. In fact and mind you this is not a complaint, really...but there seems to be more interaction with surrounding objects and stuff, in all those videos, then whats actually in the game now.
Anybody remember playing DukeNukem 3D, back in the day? Although graphically compared to the graphics of today it blows big times....its gameplay is STILL, ahead of most games today. And i think that game is almost 10 years old. Those old duke nukem Die hards will know what im talking about. The interaction with the surrounding stuff, was surreal.

Wow, that looked so much better! better lighting, better looking player models, and the physics were brilliant!
