We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
You would think that buying a fast processor and fastest GFX would be enough, but no. This game requires 2 Gb of ram to run at high settings. BF2 uses an insane amount of memory, last time I checked it reserved 1,7 Gb of memory for itself... Everything above 1 Gb is basicly from page file.
For an update to those who care, I upped my settings to High, except turned off AA, shadows, put textures to low, and texture filtering to low. Everything else was maxed on 1440 x 900 and I had the same FPS. The HD lag only lasted two minutes now. Once you change the pagefile settings, it runs like a charm!
