I have tried both C:\program files and C:\program\ none of this works can somone tell me where to extract these files so it actully lets me run the level thing without it poping up and going back down.. any help will be greatly appreciated

Step 2. Where did you put the bfe_066 WinRAR file?
If you put it in : C:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2\mods
then I want you to move it to a temporary folder or you desktop.

Step 3.
Go here --> BFE Help and Support forums
And follow the instructions there.
Just remember to use YOUR PATH, C:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2\ , to battlefield 2 and NOT the one in that post.

Sweet! its downloading the levels now.. Cerro ur the best man! just one more thing now that its doing that do i have to delete the other mods?

Nope.
No need to delete any of the other mods.
Also, there is currently NO ONLINE play with bfe.
(there is D3lux3 experimental server but it requires a lot of work to get online... Plus his server's in Spain so if you're in the US your pings should be horrible. Check for updates here or in the BFE forums.)

err alright i alrdy have a problem.. it says there is nothing in my shaders folder? like says could not find shaders? when i start up the shortcut.. lol i knew somthing like this would happen

The solution for this is to do a complete reinstall of BF2 plus mods.

If anyone has a simpler solution, feel free to speak up.

Alright i seem to have it down.. you do not use the C:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2\mods\FOLDER .. ive seem to find out that you just type in \mod as the last and dont put anything else and then when you go to mods you just open it up.. hehe said that if anyone else needed it.. now i have the problem with when i press the join button in SP it crashes!! i see that cerro u helped somone with it i gues you PMed him so i couldnt see the advise from there but if somone is willing to tell me how to fix id appreciate it

Sorry about the mixup with "folders". Never meant that as an actual name.
In a post a few pages back a fellow by the alias 80083r posted the following solution to the SP crash issue:

*** Everyone having crash issues on single player when hitting JOIN ***

Copy the files from the mods/bf2/AI folder to the AI folder inside this mod.

Please try that and report the result here.
