Why i became a medic

Medics have to be very good at combat. Dont just run in to revive. You have to fight your way to the patient and fight your way out. Always secure the area first. Your bud is down so throw a few nades around his body then go revive.

That's stupid, most of the time. If he was laying there 10 seconds he would be spawning soon.. If you revived him to get him and you killed again, now your team has to wait ANOTHER 15 seconds for HIM and YOU.

If an area is just simply dominated by enemy fire, the smartest thing to do is to spawn away and take a safe postion to take hem out.

Medic class is way over played. honestly support > medic

I like medic because I can heal myself and my teammates and I can revive people to save those precious tickets. I played Strike the other day and got 30 revives in one round. It was crazy. I've never had so many revives before. I was running around tossing packs reviving like crazy. It was fun to run after a friend and hope I didn't get gunned down.

Medic is a fun class. I remember countless times where I saw a person get cut down by a tank, and sprinting straight for that person with the tank machine gun bullets landing just inches behind me every step of the way.

And then I get shelled.

yeah especially when the medic is hiding behind a wall and the enemy squad leaves after gunning down your comrades only to have you go revive them and then shooting the enemy squad in their 455es!!

Gidde. If I were you, I would be more worried about that jump you both made rather than being a medic. Like maybe you could be an engineer, that way you could fix up a jeep to take off that bridge or whatever. Then jump out of the jeep so you could get out further. I dunno personally if I was watching you both I would probably have one of the best laughs in my life watching you guys trying to jump off a building or bridge whtever the fk u were trying to jump off of.

I have to admit it, I really like being a medic because I can keep myself alive and in the fight longer. Once you get used to it it sucks when you are adifferent class and you find yourself stranded have been injured, there is simply nothing you can do about it. As a medic, at least you alwasy have your health...

I also do it for the above reasons, I hand out health and I revive people, but I leave the suicidal revives to the other medics. If someone has gotten themselves shot down in the open and the enemy are still shooting, well they are going to have to hang on until we clear the area. Personally I am not some angel of mercy, I am playing a combat medic with the emhapsis on the combat part. I have an assault rifle and grenades and can fight too. Sure I should not be actually leading the charge, but I should be right up there lending both medical and fire support...

Personally I always join a squad and unless there are two medics already I play as a medic.

Dude...welcome to the "dark side". You come to realize that it doesn't matter how many "enemies" you bag...its how many buddies you can save that is much more rewarding.

It depends what you're good at... I'm better at killing , especially close combat, so I feel like playing assault class is better for my team...if my team is doing bad I always play assault, if we're doing really good I'll switch to some type of support class

True, you can heal yourself as a medic, but more than half the time I get killed, its by something you can't heal, like a tank or a missile, TK'er whatever.. and when i've killed 4 or 5 guys, if I had 50% of my health left, I just ask for a supply drop and heal myself.

It's the same concept... I'm taking their tickets away and you're giving them back to us... being a medic isn't a 'better' way to play.
