    Why i became a medic

Kubra Dam,I was on the Special forces team defending our last spawn, the mec`s were overflowing our spawn,my fellow friends died everywhere trying to defend our last outpost.I heard Screams of agony, friends calling out for medical care,I couldn`t take it anymore.
I found a way to get out of the heat of battle, trying to find an altenate spawn for the boys,i ran so fast dodging incoming bullets,i reached the bridge,i had no choice than to jump out,i leaped out,it went so fast,my parachute didin`t go out in time,i crashed to the ground with a scream, when i laid there on my back waiting to pass away,i saw a fellow medic on the bridge,he looked down on me,he also was afraid of the jump, but then he jumped out,but just like me his parachute didin`t go out in time,he landed beside me almost dead,i could hear him calling for help, the seconds ticked away for both off us,then it all went black.
From that moment i swore to protect and heal my fellow teammates, that medic really sacrificed his on life trying to help me out,i will never forget that moment.

Anyone of you guys also had moments like this? Please share
Moments like this make a game just awesome,i think EA/Dice had made one of the greatest game of all time, and with an expansion coming up,this game will last for a long long time.

Mainly I am a medic because I suck at killing. But honestly, I love the feeling when you win a map like 3 tickets to 0...and you can say, I helped, I made a difference, I saved all those lives that gave us the edge.

Yes, I completely agree with the both of you. I've done what the medic in the first post has done many times, run into hostile fire against better judgement just to get to the guy who needs a kick start.

And yes, its so awesome when you win a map 3-0 and you know you rezzed like 15 people that game.

Also medic is the best class for making points, I mean, not only is the L85a1 an AWESOME weapon, meaning you can get a lot of kills and very readily defend yourself, but you also get mad points from dropping bags and especially from using your paddles.

add to that getting a new flag captures and neuts are you got your self at least 50 points a game on a normal day :)

Well I play AT most of the time but sometimes I play medic if there aren't any in my squad. I love being able to revive some one in the heat of battle and them having them get up and kick some ass. I think it is an awesome feature in the game.

Most people however play it for the points not for the fun factor.

I like the medic cause they get all the chicks. Chicks dig doctors. lol

I did switch from spec ops to medic, but he seems very limited and I miss the c4 packs and scope gun. I have rank now and unlocked the L85 for the medic. It's a better gun, but still miss the c4. heheh

I used to play the balls out medic that risked his life to save everyone, but now I play more cautiously, only attempting to revive if I know that I will survive. It really shows in my scores, too.

Medics are great, im a medic and you never get killed. You always have 3 or 4 guys hanging around you and if one drops you pick him back up. A medic with the L85 is the best asset a squad can have.

it also gives you urge to do good for you team when a medic runs out infront of a tank to dave you, then stands there cand shoots at the tank to buy you time to escape, thats true heroism

medic is pretty fun... I don't know what all the hype is about that gun though... I picked one up last night.. and I wasn't that impressed with it. I'm glad I went with the G3... but after playing with the medics unlock gun.. I'm considering unlocking something else next.

Yeah im with you there shriven,i unlocked the medic weapon, and i have a hard time with it,i think it`s just a training thing, maybe i will give it a littel more pratice, the mec`s and chinese AK is really nice, its just the US M16 i have issues with,i dont like the spray of bullets.

I am proud to be a Medic. The L85 is a lethal weapon if you know how to use it. Let me explain how to use it effectively. First of all you will only land the first two shots in automode. Count the 3rd or more a waste. It takes 4 shots to down a soldier with it. So you can take 4 single shots or you can do two burst of 2 shots on auto. Very accurate. Up close you can do more rambo style with it. Also note that the bullets hit around the point of the crosshair but not always on the point so take that into note when aiming.

Medics have to be very good at combat. Dont just run in to revive. You have to fight your way to the patient and fight your way out. Always secure the area first. Your bud is down so throw a few nades around his body then go revive.

The sight is great.. it seems like its more of a sniping weapon, when I play medic I'm trying to stay with the infantry, who are usually assault, AT, support guys... so if you are sniping as a medic, you aren't playing the class to its full potential.. if you want to snipe, you're better off playing sniper.

what the hell. Its just a game.

But I allways risk my life to revive others even if there is a tank shooting, not to get a score, just to give them a second chance and the fact its a good feeling when someone actually helps you out, unlike those ****ing selfish ****s that get in a jeep you were running after and speed off without you or anyone else.
