Tbh, if a shell from a tank was even fired at a wooden fence or if it was fired at a concerete wall the whole thing would be blown away...

The tanks should be like the modern beast they are instead of less of a match than they were in the previous games

if tank damage is increased, they should increase the damage an AT round does to a tank.

Also, with the increase of splash damage for tanks (I don't care either way, I just adapt to it in-game), they should also decrease the speed available to turn the turret 360 degrees.

If you want more realistic splash damage, I'm all for it, but you have to balance the realism by making something else realistic in tandem. Some people hear a rocket hit their left side, and in the blink of an eye are looking that direction and blowing your ass away. It's a little ridiculous. I'm not complaining though, I deal with it and get my share of tank kills (AT). Just saying with one adjustment, make another.

Would be cool if they had that thing like in POE where you could switch between HEAT and SABOT rounds. HEAT would be used against unarmored vehicles and infantry with a large splash and SABOT would have little splash but great armor piercing capabilities.

Well Im glad someone mentioned the doggin out on anthills and taking damage from crossing a field too fast. Those are annoying as well. I dont know if I would up the AT rocket damage as it seems pretty effective now. I have even been popped with a lucky single shot in a tank, but certainly 2-3 is all it takes , and guys usually have a tendency to gang up on a tank real quick. ( i can hear that damn "locked on " buzzing in my sleep) . For the most part I think the balance with tanks is pretty decent. I cant count the times I have been capped by a chopper I never heard or saw.Theres a ton of things in the game that need to be tweaked as we all know. Hopefiully they will address some of these things before i'm old and dead. Like weak AA rockets and sally Spec Ops rifles, but those are different threads...I just know if a 88mm shell (or whatever) hits a wall 2 feet behind a guy layin prone, he's gonna be messed up.

The countless times ive bin killed by an Apc after hitting it with a rocket is anoying so more damage would be appreciated but you do have the upper hand if you keep yourself hidden

I think the tanks are fine as is. I usually use the machine gun to mow down infantry. I hated that in BF1942, the tanks didnt even have to aim anywhere near you to kill you as infantry. At least if a tank sees you in this game, you have a little chance of making it to cover.

Splash damage from Anti Tank rounds sucks too, many times I've fired an anti tank round that has landed at the feet of a soldier (within a few feet) and the dude is unaffected like I was throwing a pillow at him. It's very unrealistic, in reality he would be lucky to be alive and if he lived he would have no legs left.

I appreciate that making the weapons to realistic in terms of damage would make for a very different game, but come on! soldiers surviving anti tank rounds at their feet??? that should really make a mess of em.

I have seen the anti tank rounds go through dudes on several occasions as well but I am guessing that is lag related.

Hadnt thought of that one, but it defintely needs sorting more than the tank splash damage because if your in a tank you already have a good enough advantage and it wouldnt hurt to be brought back down to earth :p

Realism? Tank shells are not designed to kill infantry, they are used to destroy armored targets. Increasing the splash damage would make tanks even more overpowered. The same holds true with anti-tank missles; not designed to kill infantry.
Ive seen a tank take 4 anti-tank rockets to the side and not be destroyed; how can you say this is balanced?

I agree totaly with the person who suggested the turret turn speed be largely reduced. As it stands now, you can turn your sensitivity way up and spin that turret like nothing. If they made the turret slow to turn, I wouldn't mind them keeping all damages the way they are now. This would make infantry use tanks as cover, and protect the tank from enemy infantry (spec/anti-tank). +Realism, +fun gameplay.

                            My 2c.
