I liked it tho I wasnt expacting UBER REALISTIC war simulation or anything just tv drama **** with war background. The first episode was ok and The Sarge was my fave charecter by far, I also like that one black soldier that was sniping a bit and kept his cool during combat (hell he was taking carefully aimed one shot kills )

Yeah ahhahahhaa.. I was laughing pretty hard when I heard that... It's totally corny, but it's fun to watch war, in any kind of theme.

Rafterman: Actually, the first episode should be very good, not mediocre They have the chance to make the BEST episode because they haven't 'sucked the oil dry' out of their ideas and plot-twists. If anybody watched the OC or some of those other shows, the first episode is one that makes you want to watch the rest of the series, not vomit and puke all over the floor at how bad the show was.

I thought the way they cut straight to a battle was pretty lame. One second they're ina cargo plane, the next they're on a battlefield. No meeting Johnny *******, the dickhead mechanic who has no respect for Mrs. B or Wideload or whatever their stupid nicknames were. The closest that came to a 'plot twist' was when we saw the computer screen saying 'A loved one is trying to reach you' and then boom you see that red-head screwing around int he background. That still was pretty shitty, that's almost as good as the mines on the side of the road. WOW, DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING.

Obvious plots suck.

IMO, all the ex-soldiers that watch it and are pissed are just whiners. The show in NOT a documentary, it IS a drama. Anyone who didnt think it would be "hollywoodised" going in is a complete fool.

Its hilarious reading the official forums with all the complaints and whines. Those people just need to watch Discovery channel or the Military Channel if they want to get off on the real deal.
