Something that not a lot of people will ever get...

    ...is this: Sharpshooter Infantry Medal

You need at a minimum 875 kills with various classes.. not that hard huh...
you also need MORE than seven thousand hours played. BTW there is 8760 hours in a year.

Some of the medals are just insane... I just get so frustrated when I think about it.. no one will ever have them all.

you know what mate your bang to rights there the medals are way to hard to get id rather have it as 7000+ kills and 876 hours of playing thats more like it but even then it still could take some people years.

 they must think people are gonna play this game for years like CS but they forget the gaming industry is way more fast paced than it was during those days and people will move on. idiots

I personally 100% agree with the way the system has been set up. It wasn't set up so that every player would have maxed stats in a few months - the point of the stats is to determine the best and most dedicated players.

I like the fact that only the few best and most dedicated players will ever have this award - and even in their case it's likely to take a LONG time. Gives you somethign long term to work for, and that was the point.

I'm sick of people *****ing about how hard it is to get ranks, etc. It was never intended to be quick or easy, and it's better that way.

i remember when the game came out ppl would say that getting ranks would be impossible, to actually make it to the to, after playing it doesnt seem that hard anymore

              -Amen-

edit: Most likely this will be changed in a patch, but it's better to start with a high bid and see how things develop then to add requirements only to discover that when you want to up the requirements, a lot of people with an allergy to daylight have already earned them

8 years playing a game doesn't sound impossible to you? Heck I didn't even play Red Alert that long and it is my favorite game of all time. We don't want it easy, just feasable.

If it weren´t for the weapons unlocking, I´d never check my statistics.
To me the medals and ribbons are like Championship manager, just scripted numbers. I see a 1 or a 47 on my screen, I don´t really care about it, it´s just there.
Besides, what is the point in having prestige symbols with all the exploitation going on.
Not to mention what point farming does to the gameplay on ranked servers .

They should expand the point system . In example give points for spotting enemy troops instead of rewarding spawn killing in a tank.

Well If they will give points for Spotting enemy troops, then everyone will have like 500 points at end of each round.

Within reason , obviously you wouldn´t be allowed to spot the same enemy over and over.
Heh, what I was getting at is, I am tired of people not informing others of enemy activity.,
