It's not how well you do, it's how well your team does. The commander score is the average of your team's score.

By the way, did you get 48 because you won? That means you got the 2x bonus, and that would mean you got only around 24 points.

tell me how would this improve gameplay? .. if this is the case .. why not take out the stats ? .. what would be the point of ranked servers + squads

true. just randomly typing stuff that could prevent it. but the more I look at it it's not possible. as u say taking out the stats, would probably be the only way to 100% stop ppl from doing it. if they would modify the point system in a way to prevent stats cheaters it wouldnt come without a cost of hurting the real players. as u said again, the real squad people. as I play in squads alot too. oh well guess we'll just have to deal with it. but on the other hand almost all stat cheaters will have their stats tell their tale. the kill streaks and all that as well all can see right now for the one's who've done the stat paddles thing. maybe EA guys should just watch over each high ranked player like a hawk to see if they've been cheating or not. thus in a while scaring off people knowing they will get banned eventually.

This will acctualy bring the game to a whole new level, we will see more engineers
different type of play style's, tactics, etc. I think this update is going to make the game alot more fun.. on almost every map there are maunted machineguns next to the commanders assets, maybe for once we will se these in use?
But on the other side, this is just a theory, it could turn out bad to ..
Im hoping for the best tough...

Sure it could but the Special Forces guy wouldn't get any points.

            let's do the math here..

I assume for a SpecOps guy to receive a point he has to completely destroy the building(UAV, artillery, whatever)..it takes about 20 secs to repair one building..in 1 min it is possible to repair it two times because the other 20 secs will go for placing the c4, detonating it, getting extra ammo...so 2 repair pts per minute...let's say the round would last 30 mins (most of the time it won't last that long)...2x30 = 60 pts per round if they are lucky...doubt that will happen...exploiters could easily get more pts by being medics and support playing with squad legally...

if SpecOp would receive 5 pts per damage - that's another story...

"This will acctualy bring the game to a whole new level, we will see more engineers different type of play style's, tactics, etc. "

We supposedly get points for defending flags, and yet most people don't even do that...

"on almost every map there are maunted machineguns next to the commanders assets, maybe for once we will se these in use?"

One of those 'turn 5 degrees left/right, static, predictable' machine guns vs a spec op (with an ultra-accurate long range automatic rifle)? I'm not going to be betting on the poor sod in the static deathtrap...

It's "fair" for the Spec ops to get these points, but IMHO this is just going to add to the 'out-of-the-way flags no-one can be bothered to defend'.

Cause I dont wont some stat-whore on my team as the commander. And if I have a good squad leader, and he quits, then I dont want some stat-whore gaining the sl position. Thats why.. :|:

Tough luck, you can't always get what you want.

as long as there is a stat system and points for doing just about anything, there will be people that find a way to exploit it.

The point-growers are ruining the game if i see someone way ahead of the pack in a game then the first thought that comes to mind is that they are cheating which is fair if they are just a truly good player, the problem must be sorted
