    New exploits of BF2 1.03

When the Special Forces will start getting points for destroying commander assets we will start seeing this:
A Special Forces guy and a support guy from team A will go to one of team B's commander assets and meet up with their friend the team B engineer, you figure out the rest...

Will this happen or will these kind of exploits have been taken care of somehow?

Here's my take on this: if you (random guy) thought of this, I'm sure the devs have too. Besides one of the selling points of this .3 patch is "preventing xp farming" I doubt they're stupid enough to add more to the problem. Although they like to prove me wrong :)

        LOL

But knowing EA you can never tell,
EA = N00bins from the day they was created,
all they want is your money not your satisfaction

how about making a rule u can only repair and blow up the commander assets 2 times in one round. after u are done someone else has to do it. same with stats padding. how about only one guy can revive someone so and so many times within so and so many minutes. odds are u will revive someone withing so and so many minutes so and so many times is not so big. guess that is one of the ways to prevent such "cheats". dont know what else they can come up with. think they need to have a sunday off to debate this between theri coders eh? heh

One time I was playing against a good commander on the Gulf Of Oman, my squad leader was asking for the arty to be taken out, so I abliged. I would play spec ops and go over and blow up his arty, and then go off and fight and get killed. I would respawn at the river point, see that he had dropped a crate by the arty to get them back up, so I would cross over, blow them up and then go off and fight some more. Rinse, repeat, about 5 times.

It's the spec op's job to take that stuff out. They tried to hit me with planes and helos, sometimes they got me.

            That's the breaks.

But, look at it from the other side: I didn't get points for about 50% of the total play time on that level, since I was doing this and never got a single point for taking out the arty for my team. Without any points, it's 'nice' to take it out. If I was getting points, I would have been rewarded for the time it took to do it.

This would however kill the squad based operations .. when im running with my mates, all we do is look out for eachother, usally operating on the other side of the map as the rest of the team (you know the big herd or artillery fodder) .. this way if i revive my squadleader / mates several times in a row it would be considered farming, eventhough we are running around killing other peeps and capping flags ..

tell me how would this improve gameplay? .. if this is the case .. why not take out the stats ? .. what would be the point of ranked servers + squads

I don't see the point in trying to get rid of stat padders. Who cares? The fact that they have no skills makes them easy targets. All the weapon unlocks and ranks in the world won't help this.

I see any kind of restriction on getting points via supportive roles as detrimental to those who really use it the way it's supposed to be used.

                    i agree completly

but i can understand the concern for wanting a lagit ladder board to see where the true good players stand

Have fun with this. Do people even realize how long it takes to repair commander buildings...or repair in general...

It is hard right now to earn the comander ribbon... welll, with that stupid measure its gonna be even worse.

Staying at 1.02 untill getting the ribbon..

It can be hard to follow the mind of the exploiter, unless you are one yourself.
In example medics that exploit by shooting then healing eachother to crop, heh, I´d never have thought of that.
