Basic Knife -

Sharqi/karkand is where I got my knife and pistol badges. All I did was use spec ops and ran around like a madman. Didn't take that long and I diden't even die much. Also I was on 64 man servers so its alittle more hectic.

I had so much fun getting basic knife., but basic pistol is driving me crazy.

Use your same technique, as spec ops .. trust me that everyone will be too busy to look for you and your silenced pistol.

got both vet pistol & knife. any tips on getting expert knife. 18 in one round is alot. im almost at 100 total kills with the knife, just wondering how the hell im going to do 18 in a round

I got my basic and veteran knife badge on karkand. Same day I think. It's not that hard, I would just knife people by running up to them, I got it pretty quickly..... the person doesn't have to be a sniper or be prone somwhere. Plus usually people's aim sucks on pubs so running at them with a knife isn't a problem.

I owned it today.

mashtuur city... mainly around the center flag whilst it was capped by enemies, go to the building and cut their throats from behind. i have done this with my two nicks and i achieved it both.

For Basic Pistol/Knife Karkand is the best. With the knife you run at someone, with 3 to 4 feet to the target jump and lie down (you'll fly through the air like superman) and knife them, it's a pretty cheap mve but looks awsome. As for pistol, just go sniper or spec ops, the silenced pistols are actually really accurate. Happy Hunting.

hum i did both (veteran) on Gulf of Oman 16 Player.

ahhh atm i have 94 knife kills but 18 in 1 round !? pfhew

That's what I thought too as I sat watching the tickets roll down while I had 17 knives done...then a poor soul spawned in front of me with less than 20 tickets left.

Expert Knife achieved.

It was Karkand 64, MEC's southernmost flag was in U.S. hands...I managed to get into that hallway directly West of that South flag where 7 people where just standing around seemingly doing nothing. I got lucky and grabbed 7 right there...not ALL 7 that were there though, some didn't know what was happeneing, while at least 2-3 that I knifed respawned to get knifed again.

i have veteran knife and pistol. all i can say is if your close enough, knife them or shoot them with a pistol. i use my pistol almost as much as i use my main weapon. when i fire off 1 clip, i finish them off with the pistol

For knife just run up to them... I don't have the badge because I got it once and it did not save so forget it! I play to play not for badges. The pistol for me is easy I always get around 5 pistol kills in a map just aim at the chest and click that F'n mouse as fast as you can.

my tips are (altho i dont have these badges yet)

*KNIFE BADGE* (7kills in one round)
lay down and hide in the area of one of ur teams cappable flags
when som one comes to cap it jump out and gut him (just hope its not a tank)

*PISTOL BADGE* (7kills in one round)
assign the middle mouse button to draw pistol from ur inventory
get into a gun fight with ur primary weapon
when you know the guy is low on health
use ur the pistol to finish the job

I did it on Strike as Mec. That left hill (well, 'left' when you look towards the US base) has a small ridge that you can get up. Once up there, there are always plenty of people prone looking further to the right. Knife 'em, hide in bushes, wait for a small crowd to gather, rinse/repeat.

I had so much fun getting basic knife., but basic pistol is driving me crazy.

Aim for the neck thats instant kill with pistol of Spec Ops and since its silinced you can do the other guys at that MEC hotspot in Karkand(just after game starts)

I just got mines on strike of karkand, I found the easiest for knife was simply to get behind the enemy, and just knife em in the back while they are shooting at some one else, and are too busy to notice little old you. Also, I found going purely knife (no guns) unless you had to hope to hit them (ie. 100+ feet away) ended up giving me a better shot at it.
