A little off-topic, but do the badge requirements count continuously, or do you have to do all requirements in one round I mean, like what if I want a Veteran Spec Ops badge, I think I allready killed 20 people as spec ops, so if i play 250 hours, will it give me the badge without having to kill 20 people in one round again ? THX.

I use spec ops for the pistol and knife badges because he can run fast. The only one you have to worry about are the 7 in one round and 18 in one round for the vet pistol. Other than that just play your regular kit and sneak up on people.

Is it just me or does it seem like nobody really cares about other players badges? I know personal pride is an important factor and I think its good to be proud of your achievements. But at what point does it stop being fun.

I just know that I look at peoples sigs and... don't care. Although I am impressed when I see top 1000 or 500 sigs.

And now I'll suit up in my flame retardent suit. I'm sure most people care as much about my opinions as much as I care about their sigs and badges.

At Karkand (mec) run up the rightside and go behind the first building.
Run ower the road and stab the US mothers when they respawn.(dont run over the road,wait with the running when u se an enemy u can run up to). There is a machinegun in there 2,usually mounted with a PLEASE backsatb me Us veteran killingmachine.
The pistol is great in this map 2.

my tips are (altho i dont have these badges yet)

*KNIFE BADGE* (7kills in one round)
lay down and hide in the area of one of ur teams cappable flags
when som one comes to cap it jump out and gut him (just hope its not a tank)

*PISTOL BADGE* (7kills in one round)
assign the middle mouse button to draw pistol from ur inventory
get into a gun fight with ur primary weapon
when you know the guy is low on health
use ur the pistol to finish the job

It's not that hard to knife people really. As long as they aren't bunny hopping. Just get behind them or even in front of them. Bounce around and dive at them or sneak up on em.

As for pistols...that's very easy to get. I have been all pistol the past few games.

I just got my basic knife last night playing Songhua Stalemate. I just hid in a building near an opposing team's spawnpoint and followed a squad as they made their way to their next objective.

I just followed up behind them in regular run speed and then sprinted and knifed the furthest guy back, then sprinted and knifed the next, then the next. Took out 2 whole squads this way in one round = basic knife combat

go MEC on clean sweep and travel to the US only spawn and hide round the airplane hangar.. when they come out to get theor chopper run out of nowhere and stab em.. half the time they think you're a friendly... i even had one guy drop a med pac at my feet before i sliced him up. I now got all basic badges, and by far the most fun was getting the explosives badge. Blowing sh*t up really is fun.

It's quite easy really. Play Strike At Karkand (preferably a 64 player high populated server) and join the MEC. Then make a run to the main USMC forward spawn (the one where most people spawn) and just knife those people M203'ing off the hill. It's kinda lame, but it worked for me. rofl.

At last! I finally got my Veteran Knife badge (Basic and Veteran at the same time). I managed to achieve it on Sharqi Peninsula, got quite a few in at the very start as I was on MEC.

That has been the hardest badge for me, just got to get the Commander one now.

Good luck with the Expert versions:

Knife: 100 kills, then 18 in 1 round
Pistol: 500 kills, then 18 in 1 round

Sharqi, Mashtur, and Karkand are of course the best map choices. And 60-64 players is a must as well.

hum i did both (veteran) on Gulf of Oman 16 Player.

ahhh atm i have 94 knife kills but 18 in 1 round !? pfhew

Well i figured out a way to get both easy

I thought of this last night can get both pistol and knife in one round easy

**you need a budy to help u out on this**

K the person getting killed needs to pick a good spot to respawn where he wont loose his spawn point.

Then the killer (you-the one that wants the medals) goes to that spawn point (use vent or ts or voip) and meet them away from other players. Stab them and wait there.... then the one getting killed runs back to same spot and u kill them again... keep doing it till u get knife badge then do it for pistol.

I havent tested this theory but i bet it would work. I got mine the old way playing karkland for 4 hrs dieing from gun fire with a knife in my hand lol

I got my basic/veteran/expert knife combat badge on Sharqi. I was playing as a sniper, and used the uav, to sneak up behind people and knife them. Really fun.
I also got my basic/veteran pistol combat badge on sharqi.
