I don't recommend blowing up your own commanders assets just so you can repair them, that is not too bright, yikes I can't believe some people think like that.

Get in a DPV/Humvee whatever, and follow around your armor, when they take a hit, just drive up behind them they get passively repaired and you don't risk getting run over by the tank. This is a fast and easy way to get it, and is not a detrement to your team.

I got it by getting ina buggy and hanging out with armor convoys... Driving along side repairs em, so it was really easy to get 5 points.

On Gulf of Oman the commander assets seem to get c4ed quite a bit. Try just hanging around your base and repairing them when they get destroyed. Being a commander works even better b/c you wont get bored sitting around all the time.

don't be a gunner just sit in the side with the wrench out.
If you get shot at, repair the chopper.
if you do this a full round you'll get it.
Thats how i got mine anyway.

Spawn as spec ops, blow up your own commander assets, suicide, spawn as engy, repair. wash, rinse, repeat. 5 repair points.
