Warning! Clan(LOF) Ranked Server

My clan and I just got kicked & ban for not giving up the chopper. We were doing good also. So just a handy warning not to go to this server. The admins are a joke. Granted, they own the server and pay for it but gimme a break, you kick somebody because they don't let you drive a vehicle? Not a rant, just a warning.

If they were doing good, what is the problem not giving up the chopper if they are helping your team. Granted your right, its their server, their rules. I mean if they hogged the chopper and were crappy and couldn't play and all of that and still didn't give it up. Makes perfect sense. Other than that.......whats the problem?

I don't really care that much about stats, but that is a kick/ban on his "record". I think that is weak. Lock the server if you don't want the game to be played by everyone, or you want the vehicles to yourself. Oh, if they lock it they won't have anyone to play against.

I was on the (106) clan server and they were getting upset because i jumped into the passengers seat of a copter when he wanted his lil buddy to use it. I suppose they were being a bit nicer about it...although i didnt push it that far...was so appalled, I didnt wait around to see what they'd do...just left. Honestly, as a server admin, I understand the need to have some kind of authority and power over the pubs, but this is just plain rude. I mean, yah so you pay for it...that dosnt give you the right to be an ass....and if it does, why would people want to play on a server where the admins abuse the power? Again though, with these damn stats, it brings out this kind of trash in people, as all they want to do is whore it up in the vehicles..

Ultimately, sure, it's their server and they can do as they like. I suppose it's their right. However, none of that means that they aren't giant *******s for doing it.

If someone were to do that to me, I wouldn't play on their server again. Why should I? If they do it enough and treat people on their servers with such little regard in other ways, eventually they won't have much of a server left.

It's not about: "This is my house and you'll play by my rules!" That's just an infantile attitude. It's about common courtesy for your fellow gamers. The fact of the matter is: you aren't playing this game alone. There are other PEOPLE playing with you. And, when you interact with others in any context there is a certain level of respect and courtesy which must be shown, or else you're just a pathetic douchebag.

Since we don't know the full details, we can't judge, but there is a situation which I don't like.

Don't just grab planes/choppers unless you have the skills to help your team.

I'm a darn good chopper pilot and with a good gunner, I'm extremely deadly. But if I saw somebody better on the server with the chopper, I will let him fly it, because it will help my team win. People who just pick up choppers and crash it 10 seconds later need to practice in single player, not on a ranked server (darn those stats being addictive! :P), because all you are doing is delaying the good pilots from handling their business.

Some guy kept grabbing the plane on one server I was on, and kept crashing it, and this guy said to let him fly because he could do a better job. I assumed he was being an arse...but then I watched as he helped keep the armor from raping our bases (Gulf of Oman). We had four guys on the hotel flag capping it, and up rolls armor...we spot it, and 10 seconds later as we are pinned down from the M1A's fire, boom, the tank explodes. Man...I had to give him props, because he did this every time somebody spotted a tank/apc/chopper etc...they wouldn't be there for long.

Oh grow up you petulant little child. You know damn well it's wrong to do that to other players regardless of whether it's their server or not.

If they want to offer a server to the public for people to log onto then they need to learn to play fair and treat everybody equally, otherwise password protect the thing or play on a LAN.

This kinda reminds me of the time when my team mate -who also has the same tags as me- were playing in a server. And the team we were on of course were lacking teamwork and it was this clan's server i forget who they were but they were on our team and had form a squad of their own as well as us. But there were alot of others not forming so I was trying to rally my team and tell them to form squads or join squads so we would have better coordination. Well the admins (the clan) of the server had to interject and throw their infinite wisdom into the mold and whined about how we shouldn't tell them how to play their game in their server. Of course my response to that was "should I teach you how to play first" which you can imagine warranted a kick and ban. But I didnt care. Server sucked anyway in fact their clan sucked.
