It is pretty funny, if you think about it.

The bf game that you play on a console that does NOT have a keyboard, they create a text forum for.

The bf game that you play on a pc with a keyboard, gets no text forum.

They know what would be in that forum and they don't want to dedicate somebody 24x7 to keep it clean---which is what it would require considering the current state of the game.

As an employee at EA, i can only hope you decide NOT to spam the message boards, becuase the developers here (even tho not working ont BF2) work very hard i can assure you, and what people dont seem to understand is that, by fixing the game for one persons needs creates problems for other users.

Patches are on the way and will solve the MAIN problems such as the menu, crashes and TK rules.
but as for little things like 'ooo make this strong or do more damage or give me this and that' - im afraid you will have to wait for mods.

Loads of countries have 'official' EA forums but none are the 'official' BF2 forums.

If you want to get a post read by DiCE or read interviews from EA then TotalBF2 is the place to post.

If you want to make sure that your feelings about patches, both old ones and those yet to come, then EA UK is the place to post.

you see, in the UK they are allowed by consumer law to get a refund from their retailers if their not satisfied with the product .therefore they are forced to listen to the plight of the consumer to keep them happy.
here in the US we have no such consumer protection on software and games cannot be returned or exchanged for anything other than another copy of the same title.
As a result , there is no need to heed our complaints or listen to our opinions as no matter what ,we cant get a refund hitting their bottom line.
hence no forums..
