playing all the bf and fps type games online?

This is my first attempt at the whole online gaming thing. I found that there is a fair difference between being reasonable at fps offline and online took a fair bit of getting used to, still trying . My scores reflect this pretty well :cry: Just wondered how much experience at similar games you lot have? I see a lot of quake/ut type jumping etc....which does my head in tbh

started fps-ing with the original doom back in the 90's, but didnt actually start playing online until rainbow 6, which was something like 98-99.
since then i've played a multitude of fps's, such as HL 1&2, CS, CoD, DoD, SoF, etc. etc.
but i have to say, im pretty glad BF2 came along...i was getting quite bored of CS :p

Ive played FPS's well,,....thats all I play. Nothing else really interests me. No matter what in the FPS world you will be owned because someone is always better, quicker and has put alot more time into it. Then you have to deal with the cheaters/hackers whatever.....all I can say is I still lov'em an BF2 is no exception. It's my favorite to date.

I never got into UT and CS and stuff just because it's not that fun to me. Quake 3 was fun though for some reason

my first fps was wolfenstien 3D in like 92. damn that game rocked.

fist fps game was doom back in 93 and first online fps game was TFC back in 2000. Been playing Battlefield2 since early June when the demo was released and before that,I was playing Counter Strike Source and Natural Selection. I still play NS from time to time but will never go back to CS:S ever again.

i started 3 and ½ years ago i belive it was a game like spec ops, hidden&dangerous or deus ex, i am not sure. played alot of 3d person games too. started with bf as soon as the bf42 tobruk demo came out!

I don't even remember but I'm pretty sure the goldeneye game for n64 :P First time playing online was CS, and this is the third.

Ha, ya'll are so old. My first online FPS was CS:S. I've played many of the C&C series online, since about age 10 lol

I started playing FPS back when Wolfenstein 3D was the hottest game around. After DOOM and DOOM II came out, I quickly snatched those two up too. I've played all sorts of FPS games, from Call of Duty to Counter-Strike to the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series.

As for the BF series, I've played them all.

all start back with wolfenstein 3d... that game was amusing... doom and doom 2 were timeless... then theres the delta force series... CS... not touching that one... DoD > all... thats about it

I started with the Half-Life mods over 2 years ago. i.e. DPB, CS, DoD
