Stingers: Useless or Underappreciated?

stingers are useless and underappreciated... useless because if theres 1 friendly close to your locked target, they hit your friend instead... underappreciated because they can blow up any helicopter in 2 rounds (which can be fired in quick succession, so its not like you have a 15 minute reload for the 2nd shot)

The sad part is the .50 cals on top of jeeps are actually better AA than the Stingers nests AND the mobile AA tanks.

I think they might be a little better if you mounted one up on top of a Humvee or even a truck. Trust me ... they scare the hell out fo a chopper pilot but there not the biggest threat. Other aircrafts are.

Against a Helicopter: they're almost balanced...maybe a bit underpowered.

Against a Jet: you might as well be flinging goat dung into the air...you aint hitting sh*t against a jet.

I still challenge you to try and shoot me down with aa while I'm in a plane. I would be willing to bet $100 cold cash that you couldn't shoot me down more than once in one map cycle and that would probably be a fluke.

I think I have only ever been shot down by an AA once and that was from a mistake.

Any other time it's from another plane or I mess up and hit something.

in my opinion they sux.....they need a strait fireing missile as like wat they had in dc...the guidedness of the jet and aa missles r not all that gr8-infact they suck
