Very good question. Would def make the single player more interesting, but then access to all the maps and map sizes (16, 32, 64) would also.Originally posted by jdogg007-FEDuse v1 and edit your files other wise dont know dont see why u cant have all the weapons in single player anyways
If the singleplayer is to be viewed as a training ground for the multiplayer part (as several people/posts assert it is) then why can't you train with the unlocks, have the larger maps etc
Considering a lot of people, myself included, are unlikely to unlock any more than 2 weapons (doubt if I will get to 2!) would it not be helpful (not a DICE/EA word I think) to be able to try out the weapon unlocks to ensure we choose the correct one for us.

Posted this already today.
You have to unlock all the weapons in SP mode. Do this:
To unlock all the weapons in the game, go to your \Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Demo\python\bf2\stats directory and open the file unlocks.py with Notepad or Wordpad.
Find the line: defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
and change it to: defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]
