Nobody asked for arty, supplies or scans and yet they felt the need to mutiny. WHAT???

Eventually one squad leader did start to ask for supplies and UAV scans, so he got whatever he wanted.

I would do regular scans, spot snipers and call them out, spot tanks etc. I would arty the enemy flag when I saw a large concentration of troops there, drop supplies near my troops, warn of incoming troops. STILL the mutiny votes kept coming. All the time I was in an APC providing fire support and ammo drops (support class). Still the mutiny votes.

Next round, no commander again. I applied 7 or 8 times and never got accepted, BUT no one else applied either so we went the whole round with no commander and no support. They seemed intent on NOT having a commander.

It then degenerated into a helicopter flag fest, so I left.
Mutiny votes are usually less about your skill and more about some guy who wants to be commander himself....and they almost never work unless your team is just getting horribly spanked.

Lucky for you it was only the mic cable and not something else!!

I think finding a server where everyone is not only on a squad....but uses VOIP, obeys orders, evens out the squads class selection, and dosnt run into a commanders arty, is all like finding the golden ticket in a damn wonka bar.... :/

              So true.

I was in a server, and after one and a half maps of being in there with no commander (and getting beat badly), I applied. At first, no one responded to my orders or chat, but when I started giving relevant UAV support and asked everyone to squad up, I got all but 1 guy in a squad!

During 10 maps of me being commander, we not only didn't lose, we owned (avg. 55-0). And no players on either side left. We just had a good system, and I took advantage of commander's assets.

I didn't really like CO at first but it's starting to grow on me. It depends on the map, map size and if I'd rather click buttons vs. triggers.

                Great fun though :)

Is there a place we can see info on how many wins/losses as commander you have?

commander is fun when u dont have dumbasses that wont squad up and wont listen..then u got the people that seem to race across the map just to get in your artillery strike..but hey! other than that its cool
