Why so few servers?

If you have norton installed, chances are thats your problem. Turn it off or something. Worked for me.

Got Norton 2005 now, which luckily isn't such a ***** about it.

I wouldn't touch anything Norton with a ten foot pole. :p On the original subject, no joy. I have all my ports above 1024 open on my router and have tried any number of filter options and I still only get 10 to 15 servers. I don't use a software firewall at all and don't need to. I know I have this game patched and up to date, no question. I'm lucky if I get to see 3 ranked servers in that list. This game is going on the delete list unless something miraculous happens to resolve this. Desert Combat is way better than this garbage.

All those game reviewers that gave it "Editor's Choice" awards should be fired for being EA toadies. Payola all over again. :evil:

Here's the update people, I had all the right ports open in my router but didn't have room to add the extra ones from Game Spy. I have an SMC router and to solve the problem, I enabled DMZ mode. Now I get over 600 and have now played on ranked servers but I still suck. LOL Thanks to all who tried to help. Sometimes the best solutions are the simplest ones.
