anyways, the point is, mavrik, do a little research before u laugh at ppl's expense (yes, even tho u didn't mean to), especially if the person is a recipient of a well-deserved honor. oh and use a little common sense too...i highly doubt a prestigious medal would be given for a trivial case such as the one u had envisioned :P

It cracks me up that people actually care enough to get worked up over this kind of thing. The game is immensely more enjoyable if you just PLAY IT, and let the awards come as they do. All of the stat whores trying to get the set must be ruining their own fun half of the time. :laugh:

ahahah acutal the only reason i have it was because my friend came over and i saw that zboards was playing at karkand i was like dude check out this map its way tight and at the time i wasn't looking for ranked and i didn't know the cheverons next to all the other icons means its ranked and so i let him play and he obviously sucked more d--k then pam anderson because it was his first time and hence i got it, although i kinda was happy untill i found out what it meant then i was like awwww crap now everyone is gonna think i suck and that my story and it the truth

ehh, curse the people that purposly do exactly whats needed to get an award...Im a strong believer in playing as best you can in w/e area you want. You'll be rewarded accordingly. Of course this goes harshly against the purple heart. I do believe it stands for a poor meaning in this game, however giving what it means, I laugh at you if you have it. In reality I think trying to die just to get a medal is redicilous and would never do such a thing...If im having a bad day and i get it..well fine, but no way am i throwing myself willingly at such a loser's medal...sorry

I wholeheartedly agree - people who are scrambling to get everything they can show their little touch of gamer's Obsessive Compulsive Order, just like MMORPG addicts.
