From that perspective yes and no....but when you think that this Pentium M is only running at about 2.2Ghz has a bus speed of 133 and uses a third of the electric. Once Intel starts upping the core/Bus speed, Gamers will start to switch, far more effiecient CPU....silent too. Check out www.tomshardware.com for the review.

antseezee, i got a 9300 too! probably THE best laptop in terms of performance to price wise. especially when you use a 40% off coupon from dell round readily online. shaved like 850$ off mine, came out to 1200~ shipped. this laptop is quite as hell, cool, and runs bf2 like a dream. if u want a laptop, there is no substitute.

                      Re: Any BF2 laptop players?

                      I have a dell i9300
                      1.6 ghz
1.25 gigs of ddr 2 ram
                      60 gig harddrive
and a modded 7800GTX video card

                      Changed bios to XPS
Changed Battary from 53whr to 80 whr
Changed AC to XPS Power Brick
Purchased Video from Dell Spare Parts

Nearly 7500 Benchmark, twice the power of a standard 6800go that comes with the i9300. But only 20% better then an 6800 Ultra found in the XPS.

                      Total Cost <1400
