I need help with the pistols!!!

Don't know, I got the Veteran pistol award today, and I got over 100 kills... Think it's the amount of kills in one round...

Just like to add, that in the round when I got the award, I snuck up on 5 or 6 guys in the water. Funny as hell, seeing that they could see me, but do nothing about it. Made it all slow and annoying too... Wish I had a mic, so I could laugh at them whyll caping them one by one... :laugh:

Silencer slows down the bullet, making it less effective in close-range. But it is more accurate....

Damage is the same with or without the silencer.

Personally, I use the handgun in this manner -- simply pop shots at the chest and let the recoil rise to the head. Instant kill.

i have vet pistol combat and am working towards expert pistol...it says i need 500 global pistol kills for it...... the way i get kills with a pistol is on karkand i only use pistol i run with it the whole map

i am just above the iron scope around the heart area and click, click, click, ect. usually the fire is fast and very accurate which usually will kill them b4 they know wat has hit them

simple I have them -

Basic pistol - 7 kills in 1 round
Vet - 50 kills (global) then 11 kills 1 round
so you could have like 40 kills then start capping down 11 people to just pass the 50 kill mark then you can also get it that way.

Expert Pistol - I believ eit is 18 kills in one round (still working on that one.) and the global score of 100 pistol.

those stats are identical for the knife I know because my roomate has them and I have been unlocking them in the exact order he had told me and so far they have all be accurate.

What I do is snipe someone with the barret which usually brings their health down to about 5%, then I just pull out my pistol and finish them off.

The pistols are dead on too, I can snipe someone a good 100 yards or more and still pull the pistol out and nail um.

If you want to go for pistol, get in a close-quarters map with China (a 16-map with 32 players like Dalian Plant or the Oil Fields).

The PLA pistol is probably the best because those sights in their pistol is aligned correctly (directly in the middle and the tip of the center).

The MEC's MR-444 is way off, the sights are far below where the bullets hit, so you'll have to "ghost" the sights (look where the crosshair is, zoom and fire, as said by a previous poster).

The 92FS' center is on the top left corner of the square post, also good for getting the badge since you have something to reference where you're shooting.

All silenced guns are on the mark, though, the sights just above the middle of the barrel, very good when using a sniper rifle to soften the target and making one killing shot with the handguns.

Yeah pistol is easy on maps like Karkland and Mursaat City. Be a support or Anti-tank (a class with armor) and run around with it. I have gotten basic pistol on 32 player servers 2-3x and verteran once of course.

The knife I got up to 5 in one round due to campers but never really attempted it. It really does not matter much considering the only rank you need it for is master sargent and I doubt I will ever get that/play that much of this game.

heh, it might decrease bullet velocity, but thatd make no difference in a firefight.....unless its an OPSinc silencer, which would effectively raise the velocity due to teh energy buffering design

as you shoot pull down the mouse. so you always get shots on the body. if you ever behind somone pull out your pistol

nah. silencer baffles the sound, doesnt affect the bullet. unless you're talking about an IRA silencer.

u can try to weaken them up some with ure primary weapon then pop ure pistol out and kill them..or u could be extremely queer and get a friend together and keep knifing or pistoling him..which is looked down upon by everyone..
