I need help with the pistols!!!

I want to get the pistol badge by getting 7 kills, but whatever i do i just never seem to reach that amount!! Can someone help me on how to actually kill someone with it, like where do u generally aim to get the best effect, and which map is best suited for pistols

Samething goes for knife, any tips on that can help too!!

i dont think i can always aim for the head when i am in a heated fire fight!!

players have hitboxes just like any other fps game..

headshots will kill hella faster than body or leg shots...just get used to keeping your crosshair high up and always aim for the dome...

as far as the knife goes, sneaking up on snipers works best - good on maps like kubra dam, where snipers line up around the rim of the dam looking for targets in the cranes or on the ground...

Use it long range when you can; it's really accurate. Aim for the head. Prone when you use it. Always use the iron sights.

The pistols are very accurate. I just havent really tried to get that badge.

i got my expert pistol by just using the pistol for everything... didn't use my rifle again till i had expert pistol... knife is proving to be harder, but if you find an infantry based map, just use it and run around... and it also helps if you're a medic, because then you can heal yourself after your knife fight (enemies never use the knife against a knifer, always the rifle or pistol)

its always best to get those 2 awards on close combat maps. its good when u have a good commander.
go to an area that has the UAV set on it and start catching guys :P

I got my badge on Gulf of Oman by sneaking around enemy flags. most of the time there are several enemies hiding/camping there.

I accidentally got a veteran pistol badge today after I ran out of ammo on Karkand. I wasn't using it for more than 5 minutes. The pistol is a very effective weapon when used correctly.

If your close to the enmy aim for the head and don't just shoot once click that mouse as fast as you could!

When you're using the pistol ironsights you should know that the sight is a bit misleading. Instead of the shot being aimed between the two prongs on the end of the barrell it's aimed a little bit above that. Try focusing your crosshair on something then switching to ironsights and you'll see what I mean. With silenced pistols I think the shots fall just inside the circle from the silencer.

the veteran pistol badge is if you have 50 global pistol kills.....

to get the basic badge, you need to play on Karkand to start. either be Sniper or SF. the they have a pistol with a silencer, that is more deadly than a regular pistol.

im trying to work on my knife, but i havent gotten more than 3 in a round. i need to find one of those servers with 300 ticket ratio to get it, lol.
