I really like playing commander and I always take that spot when I can. I think everyone should play commander at least once or twice just to understand what is going on in the game. It will give you a better understanding of what the commander is doing when you are playing in a squad.
Last night I was playing commander on Kubra Dam on the USMC side. The enemy had just turned one of our flags neutral so I zoomed in and saw some good soft targets. I called in the artillery and settled in to watch the fun. Artillery starts dropping and I cleared out about 4 enemies. Then right when the artillery is about halfway done I see from my overhead view a blackhawk come slowly flying right into the path of the artillery and sure enough...BOOM! Four teamkills. Then I hold my breath for the inevitable...
You have been punished for a teamkill
You have been punished for a teamkill
You have been punished for a teamkill
You have been punished for a teamkill
I was so aggravated by that that I resigned from the commander spot and just played the rest of the round solo.
