The ranking system is absurd. The amount of points required for the majority of the ranks is rediculous. Honestly, most NORMAL people with a life will never even make it close to Sergeant.

Yeah why not just make it 10,000 points to Sargeant Major and we'll see 70% of people Sargeant Major within a few weeks.

lol, checkmate you have a lot of time as lonewolf.. I just CANNOT understand why people would not want to be in a squad. I mean, what are you getting from the game? I thought everyone wanted to be a part of teamwork.

here is what you do, become medic or support, and just revive and give out ammo, make that your PRIORITY

don't worry about killing people, just lay out the support bags, and revive when possible, you'll proceed much faster

See, that's what I'm talking about. I don't want to run around passing out first aid and reviving people all the time. Sure, it's part of being in a well rounded squad, and if I was a squad member and the squad needed a medic, I'd do it, but I don't want to just play the game for points, I want to play the game to attack points and blow stuff up. Playing for points is not fun for me. So, to each his own I guess.

It should take about as long as it does. It shows how good you are or if you hack. I suck but I play alot, my scores and and stuff reflect that. It's kinda like the real military, people get high in rank cuz they've been in for a long time but some of them are still crappy at thier jobs, or the young guns kick arse and get promoted quickly...

thats not what im doing at all, i mean, im doing it now. . .but only until i get corporal. . .then im going to play the game for fun

Wow, I just got my stats banner from gamedrome and now that I compare mine to yours, Terance, I see your method definatly works. You've been playing roughly twice as long as I have, but you've got about 4 times the points.

Problem with being in a squad when your with guys that dont wanna play "as a squad" they wanna be in a squad to say they are and then not actually load up and run like a squad... i do understand and have seen plenty that have and thats great but i wish i could find some guys that actually squad up right listen to there squad leader and not try and cap you just because you jump in "there" vehicle... trust me its happened more than people think
