Of course that is just a rough idea of what you can expect. Parts are interchangeable, but that system is pretty damn nice for $1500. I would definately get it (trust me I just went through an upgrade myself and wish I had gone in the direction I'm sending you).
I can attest to the quality of most of the parts in that machine. The case, keyboard, mouse, harddrive, sound card, and memory are all things I own, and I love them all.
