DFI LanParty, XFX/Leadtek 6800GT, OCZ Gold VX and an AMD 64 3000+
If you have a good powersupply you can easily overclock that to 2.4 ghz. It's the same rig as mine..
Get the SLI-D and you could whack another 6800gt in there when you need to upgrade.. Unless you have the money to get the 7800 right now, its not worth the compromise...Comment

Of course that is just a rough idea of what you can expect. Parts are interchangeable, but that system is pretty damn nice for $1500. I would definately get it (trust me I just went through an upgrade myself and wish I had gone in the direction I'm sending you).
I can attest to the quality of most of the parts in that machine. The case, keyboard, mouse, harddrive, sound card, and memory are all things I own, and I love them all.Comment
