DFI LanParty, XFX/Leadtek 6800GT, OCZ Gold VX and an AMD 64 3000+

If you have a good powersupply you can easily overclock that to 2.4 ghz. It's the same rig as mine..

Get the SLI-D and you could whack another 6800gt in there when you need to upgrade.. Unless you have the money to get the 7800 right now, its not worth the compromise...

Of course that is just a rough idea of what you can expect. Parts are interchangeable, but that system is pretty damn nice for $1500. I would definately get it (trust me I just went through an upgrade myself and wish I had gone in the direction I'm sending you).

I can attest to the quality of most of the parts in that machine. The case, keyboard, mouse, harddrive, sound card, and memory are all things I own, and I love them all.

I think you need to learn how to read, he said $1500 total! That includes an operating system which you didn't provide for him.

lmfoa were does it say he needs a os??? and thats a total of 1000 for those 4 things all he needs is a case and a hd and a psu so what you learn to read.
