Lol yeah, that'd be worth watching.

I've been trying hard to get the one-shot kill but it's never worked for me. I must be a lousy aimer too as I rarely get the two shot kill. I always aim for the front of the tracks where possible but this rarely seems to work for me.

I've been able to do the one shot kill of a tank with another tank since the 1.02 or 1.03 patch it is real. Its extremely hard to do and the best thing you can do is shot the other tank in the tracks and that is a garanted 2 shots kill. Theres somthing you should remember though if the enemy is moving away from you when you hit them you do less damage. This is very inconsistant though but in general if there moving away you do less damage.

It's a very skilled shot hitting the top part of the hull where the grenade partly glances off and hits the turret too. More or less a 2 in 1.

Yes it is possible, what happens is that your tank shell has to be aimed so that it will hit the hull and also the turret as well(So about 6 inches in the game) Fire your shell in front of the turret. It is hard, but possible. This works because it counts it as two hits.

1 shot kill is very possible, and at close range, pretty easy.

Basically you shoot the part on the top of the tracks (parallel to the ground), which counts as 1 hit, and it ricochets and hits the turret of the tank, which will count as the 2nd hit.

I have done it a few only a few times in game, it quite hard getting the shot lined up just right.
Still if you dont get it in 1 shot you will get it with the next one and still have armour left on your tank

I've done it, but very rare in actual combat... I went into our server b4 a match one time and ran fraps to film doing it with boht the T90 and the M1A1. Its a bit easier to do vs. the M1A1, as the turret sits higher on the body than the T90.

The area between the turret and body, to the left or right of the gun, not straight on. The idea is to get a deflection and have the round cause damage 2x, taking out the tank. Can also be done to an APC, using the wheelwell area.

The fraps avi's are around 90mb, someone point me to a host and I'll upload them.

DICE gave us all a big hint - watch the BF2 intro movie, you will see exactly were to hit the tank with a one shot kill

still v difficult to do!

I've mentioned this before, but it IS also possible with the SPAW, belive it or not!

I have seen a video of this.... works like a charm with tank vs. tank.... I am curious if something similar is possible with AT vs Tank... only it would take like two AT rockets instead of five. Anyone tried it?

If you hit the tread it takes 50% damage off exactly.
