The M-24 7.62 x 51mm NATO (.30 caliber) rifle did less damage (say 75 points) and the SVD 7.62 x 54mmR (.30 caliber) rifle did more (say 50 points) than a glorified .22 (the 5.8 mm Type 88) which does the same as the SVD at 45 points.
My reason is that the M-24 currently does the same damage as the M-95 .50 caliber and that is too, too much, IMHO. For balance purposes give the more accurate M-24 a better damage than the SVD but don't make it the equal to the big gun in the game.
The only other complaint is that body armor doesn't seem to make much difference in this game. It slows the wearers down but what benefit does it give? Not much when shot by a sniper. It seems to be the same number of shots to kill a guy either wearing it or not. Anyone know the facts on how much body armor protects against gunfire (including sniper shots)?
well you can customize your gun in AA, you should be able to do it in BF2. but yeah, the zoom in zoom out scoping sounds good. sometimes the zoom is just too far and you dont have enough view of the area and you get killed by some guy not in your sight
