AR Rockets or Voss

unlock rockets and get the voss with field upgrades.

I think that its mostly hype surrounding the voss. A noob can't just pick it up and top the leaderboard with it.

My reason for stating this is that normally I will come first with the voss with around 30+ kills depending on how the round went and on the debriefing screen where it shows how other people went the kills aren't even close to 30 and are pretty much always below 20.

So following this line of though I'd unlock the rockets because you should be able to use any gun to kill.

If you really care about what others think about your legal play, unlock the pilum or SAAW and go sniping with those weapons.

i can't get the voss or rockets at the same time because, i only unlocked the herzog shotgun and the defib, and i have 2 unlock points
btw i have horrible skills with rocket lauchers so i hate be engineer

Neither, pick up any kit and these 2 things are always included. It's a waste to unlock them

And yes, the voss is for noobs. I say this because 2 friends of mine started playing this game and couldn't kill anyone except when they picked up the voss

true, but u have to kill them first to get their kit
but still a nice tip, i might just forget about unlocking them
is shotgun that good, i always die when i use them

Not really,everytime i spawn with engineer kits to place Motion mines in maps like cerbera and gibraltar, i find backpacks all over the place. And even if u have to kill someone, you can't get 1 kill?? If so u really need to unlock the voss

i can get a kill, very easy, except there's a chance the vosser'll kill me first, my other reason is i want to be assault for a while to get my teamwork ribbons, i can't get 40 points with recon kit

btw, is shotgun worth unlocking?

In that case, i would choose the rockets. That way you can field upgrade to the baur. The Baur can take care of annoying vossers if you know how to use it properly. The recoil is easy to fight because it just goes up and down. And don't let the small clip fool you, with those 20 bullets you can take out about 3 guys per clip. My personal best was 5 guys with 1 clip :)

And if you are asking about the clark, Yes it is worth unlocking, big time. I made the mistake of unlocking it last. The beauty about the clark is that you can go into a small area with 3 guys and take em all out with 3 or 4 shots total.

I have 91 hrs with the voss and a total of 5227 kills.
With the clark i have 104 hrs and 9000 kills. There is only 13 hrs in difference but almost double the kills :)

One situation, one vosser against one rocket user at med range, which one would win?

Vosser of course, because he will take you out before you can fire the 2 rockets that are needed to take him out. You need 2 only if u hit him dead on, so in some situations you need to fire 3 or even 4 if he starts moving around. Rockets aren't meant for medium range, only for long distances or medium distances with obstacles such as walls.

i'm thinking about not unlocking either because like you said, i can pick them from some dead guy's kit

btw what would you do? unlock rockets or save it for the clark?
