It is most definately NOT a one sided fight in the least my friend. Since they changed the way the rockets track, they do indeed track and hit the target, only against the talon they don't always hit right away, but eventually will if you locked your missles right (they just take a second as they zip around trying to correct thier mistake).... before that patch, it was very very hard to take down a talon with a doragon.... now it's very possible. In fact, I do it CONSTANTLY on a regular basis... you just have to adapt your strategy... don't try a head on head conflict with the talon if your in a doragon, evade, then get into a better position that limits his effectiveness but increases yours... then line it up right, and pound on the fire button... then just stay alive a few seconds, watch him panic, then blow up.Originally posted by ShalashaskaThe changes made to correct the Talons hit detection have made it worse instead of better.
Rockets still dont track it properly, and rockets that are fired head on that do track, seem to fly inside the model the the talon without actualy hitting and damaging it.
The talon vs doragon is a completely 1 sided fight, the talon can just swing round and let all its rockets off without much care, and the doragon will get hit by at least half of them, even if the talon pilot didnt line the doragon up that well.
While on the other hand, the doragon can track and follow and talon untill both are flying in a line, and fire off its 10 missiles directly at the talon, and you will be lucky if half of them hit.
I have been hovering, and had an enemy doragon fly directly towards me and release its rockets, and i barely took damage, i then simply rotated on the spot while still hovering, so i was facing in the general direction of the enemy doragon, and spammed the fire button, and the missiles where all sucked towards it and blew it out of the sky.
Thats not how it should have happened.
The 2 talons on any titan map are just going to make short work of the 2 doragons, and then go on to rape ground targets without much problem.
I admit the hit detect could be better.... its certainly not something that is very clean and makes it hard to newer flyers to figure out how to get that kill (as it doesn't work the same way, or even in a logical way, against the talon).... but it DOES work a LOT better then before.
As for the changes from the beta patch? Dunno haven't tried it... but i doubt it would really cause anyone any real problems (not anyone like me anyways)....
Bottom line, if you where to say it was a one sided fight before, I'd agree with you... but as it stands right now (in version 1.25) that is a EXTREME exaggeration.Comment

And what do you call the clark now? Super fast RoF :shakehead: they might as well make it full auto, 30 round clip, bullet strength of 5 RDX's and sniper rifle accuracy! :shakehead: :dead: :shakehead: :dead::shakehead:Originally posted by QuemicalI just think the Assault riffles are ridiculous now. In order for weapons to compete with the voss, they all pretty much got put on steroids. The Scar has almost no recoil now.Comment
