Detailed instructions on how to get the Troop Transport pin/Titan drops

Requirements of Titan drops/Troop transport pin.
The enemy titan shields must be down.
The occupants (people being dropped) must spawn outside 500 meters from the enemy titan.
If they spawn inside the 500 meter range, they must be air transported 500 meters to the titan, you must travel outside the 500 meter range with them in the transport.
When they drop out of your air transport onto the Titan you must be less than 100 meters above the titan deck the podders are dropping too.(typical Titan height on most maps is about 150 meters high/altitude)
They must land on the titan in a drop pod from an Air transport.
They must land on the rear deck honeycomb looking deck or between it to get the point (in the green zone picture below)Landing in the red zone will produce no point or the air vehicle shield. Occasionally you will follow all the requirements and get no point, this is why or they missed the titan.
If they die in the drop you get no point

When you get a point for the titan drop you will see “You got a driver ability assist”. (You will also see this same message when some one is healed or resupplied while in your transport, this one will not count toward the troop transport pin)

Okay now for the how to part with out dying:
First off, if you can steal an enemy Air transport, the enemy Titan AA guns will be less likely to shoot their own air transport. By the time they realize you’re not on their team it’s to late.(To aquire and enemy transport, look on your own titans rear deck, or get one from a silo when they land) If you can’t get an enemy transport use your own, I earned three in a row with an enemy transport, so it’s preferred. Be a squad leader and select the enemy titan as the area you are going to attack. Full servers on Suez Canal & Sidi power plant with non moving titans work best.
Also remember, if they have a good titan gun defence, you will be the only way they can get on the titan(if you follow these directions)

Acquire a transport, if you can and have it, put an engineer sonar on the transport to detect gunships, so you know when not to dive. Approach their titan on the far outside edges of the map sides while gaining altitude(don't fly in the middle of the map, you will be gunship target practice) Picture below is an example of my typical flight path.

Climb to an altitude of about 320 meters or higher; fly back and forth close to their titan rear deck at the edge of the map(at 320 meters altitude or higher). Make note of where you are on the map when your 500 meters away from the enemy titan on both sides, use a land mark and fly to this same point each time as part of your flight path while waiting for spawners. The picture below is an example of my flight path while waiting for spawners.

Flying back and forth(at 320 meters altitude or higher) will cause people to spawn on you(flying close to the enemy titan), when they click to spawn, by the time they do actually spawn your about 500 meters away. Also remember that when they spawn, their last spawn selection will be the same unless they change it. This will be you as long as you have not died, or traveled outside the out of bounds("where are you going soldier, get back in the fight"). Remeber also there are two out of bounds, gound vehicle/troops out of bounds, and air vehicle out of bounds(air vehicle bounds is always larger then grounds). No one can spawn on your transport if your out of bounds for the ground vehicles/troops. Even if you in bounds for air vehicles, they cannot spawn on you. Thus the spawn point disapears and no one spawns on you.

You will most likely not be seen by the enemy titan AA guns due to fog/cloud cover. When someone spawns in your transport, continue until you get to your 500 meter mark then head towards the far rear of the enemy titan(staying at 320 meter altitude or higher) when you reach 250 - 300 meters distance to the enemy titan, put your air transport into a steep dive, AKA dive bombing, when you get to the rear of the enemy titan(100 meters or lower off their rear deck, remember the higher deck is higher then the lower one, so they can pod out at 100 meters off the higher deck) start honking your horn(this way they know to bail out) you should be traveling at 600-700ckop(speed).

Start leveling out and fly away at about 50-80 meters altitude to avoid titan AA guns, (if the AA guns are not manned you won't need to do this, thus your climb time back to 300 plus meters time will be shorter, lower alltitudes making you visable to ground AA and other enemy vehicles, gunship, SAAW, etc, you have to decide which is best for you) keep going past (if applicable) and below the enemy titans altitude (normally about 150 meters high) and when your 400 meters away (out of the enemy AA guns range), start climbing back to 350 meters. By dive bombing(buzzing) the enemy titan, the titan AA guns will only be able to do about 30% damage to your transport by the time they see you, if they even see you! Usaully all they see is you wizz by and your gone. If you do get damaged, fly to a landing pad owned by your team for repairs, if you repair the vehicle yourself, more then likely someone will spawn in it and take off leaving you in the dust.

You can actually be less then 500 meters if your diving from a high altitude, the descent distance is also included into the 500 meters(which is about 80 meters if you dive from 350 to 200). But better to travel 500 meters away and come back, better safe then sorry.

Good Luck, any questions ask, I have earned a dozen of these(troop transport pin) so far.

FYI, today I played a difficult titan defence while working on gunship kills, I found that by Dropping teamates from a gunship since it is faster, that I got the Pin( “You got a driver ability assist”)accidentally. So by following the same distance guidlines, using a gunship you can accomplishe the same goal, Goodluck!
