What's with you guys and Razer mice? Tbh every Razer mouse but the Lachesis suck.

The Copperhead has 2000dpi. My X7 that costs 10 bucks less has 2500dpi. And a gold USB. I think Razer is ovahyped :p

I had a Copperhead and it was a nice mouse, but I got the loss of power problem with it. At random times it would disconnect for a few seconds prompting loss of movement before coming back online a few seconds later. Naturally this would happen at the precise time I was in a fire fight. A bit of research on the Razor site shows this is a known problem and to send the mouse back to them. This gave me the hump as I'm lazy and it's now gathering dust.

But apart from that Razor products are to notch and are nice eye candy.

But it's horse for courses, I wouldn't recommend a Copperhead if you have big mitts like Peter Schmicheal as they are quite delicate, a mx518 is more suited to your needs.


Edit: I also had a weird problem with the newer versions of setpoint. None of the programmable buttons would work in-game, I had to revert back to v2.31 to fix it.

dpi switchers are nice for rail guns etc, but it's unlikely that for normal combat you'll need to switch that much, I find that once you find you most comfortable setting changing it just confuses your aim. But being able to hotswitch weapons with the right hand thumb is a lot easier than streching that left hand digit up to the numbers row.

I got the Logitech G5 and my game has improved significantly. The keyboard, not so much.

Maybe I've forgotten how much difference my mouse made (mx500 i think), but man I do sure put a lot of value into that keyboard. Love the display and the ability to do macros.

1ms = 1/1000. thats one thousandth of a second, so you can press a key a 1000 times a second .

Guys, you're missing the point. With a new mouse, he can move quicker and maybe be a bit more accurate.
