Tried it out some more but still CTDs and Disconnects about every 10 minutes

And it sucked that i lost my first knife fight...haha

we are working on the fix, any info you guys can give us to help us get out a hot fix, the faster we can get it out there and stop the headaches :)

we want to play headache free too lol. this is the first time us Devs/testers have been able to play with more than 20 people :)

Here's a few things I've noticed...

-Sniper Rifle won't reload until you've depleted all of it's charge (Unless you're not supposed to start charging mid way).

-B-Wing seems a tad overpowered, but I would need to play against it more often (I dunno... going 16-0 against whole swarms of bombers, fighters, and interceptors seemed a little off for someone who is usually as adept at flying as an overweight cat)

-Deviation might need some tweaking, as it is sometimes it looks like your shots go straight, it's just they are shot from 3 feet to your right or something.

I don't get it, do you use your account when you play FS? Like, if you knife someone while you're playing FS, does it record in your 2142 stats?

No. All FS servers are UNRANKED, which means that NOTHING you do is recorded

Yep, I've seen about 50 or something which I think is quite a lot :) Most of em were populated as well. Great mod.

another thing ive tried downloading it from several server but each time it suddenly stops at 160mb and i was like ok tried to start it and get a weird warning.

i wud love to see modjive with this mod.

Those space battle shots looks sweet. Downloading now over my cell phone since I'm at work, got about 4 hours left.

As for some of the problems could they be Windows Vista, I noticed from the screen shot. How many with Vista are having problems and how many with XP and what problems.

yeh some vista users are reportign a couple problems teh XP users don't have, as i am known for saying by now, we are working hard of fixing the bugs, and not only the bugs but trying to throw in some of teh early feedback you guys have given with reguards to intuitivity of the maps, and game balance, so the hot fix will have more than just bug fixes.

Awesome job with the Mod; kudos to everyone involved. Even with the CTD and other bugs, this is spectacular. The UNPAID and VOLUNTEER efforts of everyone involved are incredible and can definately be seen in the quality and attention to detail. Keep it up!!!:salute:
