I have said it loads of times. Where is the line drawn. Here you have a half decent player who can easily make a medal with effort but as soon as its a thin line to getting gold against another player he stat padded just a few points to get gold. In some cases loads of points to get gold in fact.

Cheap. Banned. So is it OK to stat pad half your points in the game? I think not.

Yup. hands up in honesty. I am an easy target. I am a much better admin than player.

Your stats do you justice. You play a mean assualt according to your stats but you seem to have let yourself down on this occasion and chose the wrong place to do it.

Move on and please don't use this cheap tactic anymore. You have been shown up now as (you say otherwise) you stat padded just a small amount.. which to me is still padding.

Now people are watching you. If I make you play the game back the way you usually do??? (hopefully) then I have done us both a favour.

i hate this, u guys are all so critical. bottom line its a game and sometimes people are better than others, im not saying he wasnt using emp grenades but arent you guys breaking EA rules by making up your own rules on your own servers?

if he wants to spam emp nades at troops/armor LET HIM!

even ********* ****** but only to a certian point on this, lets say if your team is attacking the other team titan and you dont want them to be able to use their *** for a few min while you team attacks then emp it because it makes puts it out of use of the commander so it does help your team. BUT IF YOU EXPLOIT IT TO 100+ POINTS YOUR STATS SHOULD BE RESET.

and as far as i can tell he is not guilty of such

plus for a player as good as him it would seem that it would be to boring for him to just spam them for points when you can spam frag grenades at troops for points and kills.

if any of you stat-padders out there read this PLEASE GO TO THIS JERKS SERVER AND DO YOUR THING JUST TO PISS HIM OFF! and do it right in front of him so he can get the screenshots for us. thank you

its obvious from past experiences that getting higher ranks is only done by stat padding.

i resent that remark with the contempt it deserves... although I do admit that some high rank people has statpadded but i would say that more lower ranked people have statpadded.. and to say that the only way to get high rank is to statpad is stupid.. scrutinize my stats and see where I have statpadded, I dont want to sound condicending but I have gained my 19th world ranking place through normal legit gameplay. I hate it when I hear that the top 100 players are stat padders to get into the top 100, I know im off topic but remark like that get me.

Yup fish but in the last four weeks I have banned two of the top 20 for glitching and several for spamming emp greandes to an extent that it inflated their score unnecesarily. And goodness only knows how many have been banned because of failure to adhere to server rules and gone baseraping.

I have not checked everyone i have banned but i am damn sure there are lots more in the top 100.

The trouble is there are genuine great players like you, and scorpiobe and roguegranny (even if he can be a might troublesome some times (hehe no offense m8)) to show there are reasons the game is succesful and then you get players like Kain and some others that show the game off for the worst reasons

You are right though, people should take care on generalisations. However well meaning they can cause offense.

I played alongside both these people in BF2142 and me and Rogue used to squad up in BF2. So I can speak from playing alongside them.

Not sure about any stats wiping of RG. I stopped playing when 2142 came out and he had not been wiped at that point. Scorpiobe used RDX yes. So do most of the Timeless admins and regulars. Even I have to use it occasionaly although I fail miserably most times and can't bunny hop without cracking up.

So I don't think theres much here that bears relation to the thread. Personal opinions aside I have played with these players and Fish quite a lot. I have never seen any wrong doing. I have seen abundant energy which wears me out, use of the server settings and good teamwork from all of them. That is where I base my judgement of their skills to support their rankings.

Watch out you will get banned from some servers cause they consider it padding

So if you though a extra or 2 and get 1 or 2 extra points, you will get banned from so called "popular" servers :shakehead:

Oh well. I think we all said what we felt and it was going round in circles anyway. LOL

I respect others opinions of course so I guess we will deal with issues at the time they happen in the best way we all feel is appropiate.

Actually this is an ample opportunity together with other threads recently made to suggest that if people enjoy one or two games on a server and add them to their favourites they visit that servers website and forum and check up to see any other rules.

If the server is in English and you don't use it as a first language (.... doh why I am i writing this lol ...maybe someone will translate it for their clan mates...) then just write that you needa translation into your native language.

I know for a fact we have fluent english/german speakers as well as far eastern speakers in our community.

At the end of the day if you make an effort you can make a difference to your favourite servers community.

Rogu3 has been stat wiped on several occasions during his BF2 times.

Lol he was actually on our server last night giving it all he had both gameplay and in the chat boxes, failing miserably in both :laugh:

Just to clarify for everyone who didn't know you DON'T get .5 for every EMP you get .5 for every other person you hit, you CAN'T just keep hitting one man, it won't work, which therefore shows another reason why it isn't stat padding.

And when people keep quoting that rules about making an inflated score, using EMP's doesn't fall into that as it is not stat padding in the slightest, your using a part of the game and EARNING your points

but you still get .5 points for hitting enemy assets with EMP? how about vehicles? occupied, i assume?

does this mean you also get .5 pts when your EMP mines get tripped?
