Well I can't speak for ET:QW(ill play the demo but thats probably it) but COD4 will at the very least cut into my time with 2142, if only while playing SP. The only MP game thats taken me away from 2142 is FEAR Combat and only because my real life friends play it.

Halo 3, CoD 4, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, and possibly GRAW 2 for PC will cut my 2142 time.

I have no problems with other genres to a point, like RTS(love it) Racing and Sports, 2d Fighting Games.

I also don't mind a good 3rd Person game like Tomb Raider, Hitman and most recently The Godfather.

Heck I even play Popcap games like Bookworm, Big Money and Chuzzle.

But i abhor MMORPG, SIM type games like The Sims and all the thousands of Tycoon games.

Sorry but i like action, make me think too but give me lots of Action.

And finally, I have grown up, i used to play games like spore but then real life doesn't always give me the time to play games that take hours for anything interesting to happen.

Like I said in an ealier post, from now on after what happened with Quake Wars, I'm never ever going to judge a game by its look. I have to play it and then I will see how I like it. So for now its all 2142.
